    Been There, Said It, Already:

Jedi Knight... I totally agree with you, and because I was concerned with his "covert actions" I posted this same topic last week. I don't mean "to-rain-on-your-parade" nut, look at the post below:

WARNING: Obama to Push Through the Now Dead Health Care Bill

Obama is behind a covert plan to get the Dem's to find a way pass the current health-care bill [as it is presently written] into law. Obama can not be trusted. He is a vindictive, coldly calculating man. He wants this bill, as it is his legacy, and he will stop at nothing to revive it.

The election of Brown, and the current period of jubilee among those who wanted the bill defeated, present a great opportunity for Obama to use a stealth-like approach in getting the bill through.

The GOP, Tea Party, and Conservatives are still caught up in Brown's victory, and what better time to catch them all off-guard? Mark my words...the health care bill, as Obama wants it, could once again rear its ugly little head!!!

His recent comments, at numerous public gatherings and meetings with both the GOP and Dem's attests to this. He wants the plan, as it is, to be put through, and it is this persons humble opinion, that we who have prayed against the bill [as it currently stands] need to gather ourselves, and continue to pray this present version of the health-care bill through to its final resting place in "dead bill hell!"

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

Maybe MORE will get involved and post this time.

The current ideas being pushed by the Republicans and Democrats won't solve the health care cost crisis that has been building for the pat 50 years as health care costs have risen from 5% of GDP to 17% of GDP during that time and continue to gallop ahead, consuming more and more of personal and governmental spending.

Here is an excellent solution but neither major party appears to be interested in it:

    www.cato.org/pubs/pas/pa650.pdf

As the author concludes: "Medicare reform, tax reform, and regulatory federalism stand ready to put those cornerstones of a free
health care market in place. They await their champion."

How sneaky can you get, trying to pass a bill with the support of the majority of the Senate?

I hope they pass it. I also hope it has a public option, but I'm not holding my breath for that.
