It appears to me, from what I have read in the papers and on line, that by the end of this day, Obama will ramrod his monsterous "Frankenstein-health-care-bill" through the Senate with the Nuclear Plan [reconciliation].

The nation, and those on the minority end of both the House and Senate will of course be angrier than a nest of stirred-up hornets on a hot summer day.

What still remains to be seen is how this "righteous anger" will be played out in the coming days and weeks.

It is quite possible that the use of "Reconciliation" to pass this sweeping change could be challenged in the US Supreme Court for its Constitutionality, and if it is legally binding. Reconciliation was put in place to pass budget items when there is no other way to obtain a bipartisan vote of approval. For complete info on Reconciliation, check out the following site, it is short, but full of the nuggets needed to help the novice citizen understand when, where, how, and why this option can be used, as well as deciding if the Democrats and Obama did the right thing by enacting this option to pass the Obama Frankenstein Health-care Bill.

We don't need "reconciliation" in Congress - the more divided they are the less stuff will get accomplished and the better for the American people. There's not ten among the the whole lot that are doing the right thing!

From what I am understanding about this process it is likely that the House will try to pass the current Senate bill as is. Then reconciliation may be used in the Senate when they attempt to make changes to the bill after President Obama has signed it into law.

It's nothing but a bunch of shenanigans to bypass the will and best interests of the people.

Both major parties have been bypassing the best interests of Americans ever since Grover Cleveland left office. And it's a crying shame.

The bolded portion is what I argued in another recent thread.

The government that governs best governs least. Those in Congress "accomplish much" by fighting against freedom-eroding legislation, not by introducing, supporting, or "passing" it!
