What do you do at your church to make new comers feel welcome, if anything?

Well, we don't make them raise their hands or stand and introduce themselves. :wavey:

Our town is so small folks don't use their turn signals 'cause everybody already knows where you're going. If someone is new at church we'll know it. We have a couple folk that make a point of saying hey and getting some information - names, address - if they're willing. If they won't give up the information two of the deacons take them into a dark room with a 100 watt bulb in a desk lamp and grill 'em until they break.

We have a lady that brings homemade cookies and we have an informal fellowship time after the service. Folk don't bolt for the door when Nina's cookies are sitting there waiting on you.
