could be the best thing that has happened to the Republican Party in quite a while. If there is as must disgust with this law, and if it is as bad as some say, it will assure a republican increase in 2010, and the White House in 2012. It would then be a simple matter to either overturn this law or de-fund it and let it die on its own.

Today would be a great day to study the Constitution. The only way Congress could overturn the health bill is to have a 2/3 majority in BOTH houses - I doubt they would acquire that many seats in Nov, but only 1/3 of the Senate is up for election.

If the republicans pick up a majority, they could stall and stall and this health care law would probably never be implemented, at least not in its entirety. Remember, much of this does not go into effect until several years.

Better yet, the Supreme Court could find this insidious law unconstitutional, as they should.
Father forgive me for this racist comment, amen.:praying:

Asked this in another thread, and didn't see an answer. For supporters of this health care bill, why did you support it?

It doesn't provide more access to care; it doesn't provide more doctors or nurses; it doesn't provide more healthcare facilities.

The *only* thing it seems to provide is requiring us to obtain insurance.

How exactly does that make healthcare better?

It makes us feel better. We're doing the right thing. we are going to take your money that you made through your hard work and give it to the illegal immigrants and those who don't work.
That way, they get to vote Democrat.
