FNC host Glen Beck admits he doesn't care about politics, that it's all about the money, and that FNC is an "entertainment" company. Imagine that.

Love that he calls global warming deniers "idiots".

I haven't read the entire link, but I'm wondering if Beck is being just a bit facetious. Then again he may not like the word politics, as some do not use the word "religion" (we believe in Christ, not a religion).

Also, I would like to see some other news sources on this.

So, Preident Obama was right all along about Beck. He's just there for entertainment. Personally, I smell something rotton and it ain't Glenn Beck.

The same site derides Beck for trying to split conservatives because he speaks out against Republicans.

Seems anyone bucking the O's movement is being painted badly, you know anyone in the right is suspect of being subversive etc.

Hard to be painted badly when its one's own words doing the painting.

Some people are so convinced of someones motives, they cannot be swayed no matter what. Next it will be, Beck was misquoted or he didn't really mean what he said. Regardless, the same old crowd will be tuned to their radio and television the next time Beck comes on.

Like today, I mentioned to someone that Nancy Pelosi said about the health bill "We need to pass it, so we know what's in it."
He as much as said she was misquoted.

    You Are Da' Man...

Once again you have correctly found a "chink" in someones armor and exploited it to the fullest. You are getting very good at taking things said, out-of-context, and making an acrid judgment to assassinate the character of a person who is not bulled over with the Messiah of DC.

Are you sure that you are not working with Robert Gibbs at the WH? You are great at "spinning" and if you're not working on the Obama "hit team" you should send them an application and get yourself a great paying job.

Yes siree! You got da talent, and it's a shame you're wasting it here on the board :applause:

    Your day is coming :1_grouphug:

All you can do is toss out threats? Where was Crybaby Beck taken out of context? Care to give the full quotes? Since you are certain of context, please enlighten us, oh false prophet.

    Huh????

    1) "All you can do is toss out threats?" Are you getting prarnoid as you grow older??? I made NO threat!!!

    2) Pathetic little man... You don't have to resort to name calling, it makes you out to be so, "small"

    3) "oh false prophet"...Again, you seem to be resorting to name-calling and mud slinging. You'd think that someone with the kind of intellectual capabilities you claim to possess, you'd not have to resort to such "obvious" sin! Again.... it makes you look so very small!!!

By the way... have you repented for your anger and hateful comments? It's something you should really think about doing, like, right now.

It seems to me that there are quite a few board members that may be causing you to "stumble" as a believer and follower of Jesus. It may serve you well to resign from the board in order to protect your witness... :praying:

As for me, I apologize for being one of those board members who continue to be a stumbling block to your being an acceptable witness before those on this board. Maybe when you see my name attached to a post/thread, you should pray for the strength to not read it.

It sure looks as though I've kind of become an addiction that feeds your spirit of rage, hate, and anger, and, if this is so, I apologize for making you stumble and fall so many times a week. Why not try to ignore my posts, it will mean far less things that you will face at judgment...

    Praying for you brother,

    Pastor Paul :praying:

With all due respect, Pastor, this is exactly what you do over and over again. I could list many posts that you've made that are either outright lies and fabrications that a minimum of fact-checking would have prevented you from posting, misleading statements such as when you called reconciliation the "nuclear option", conspiracy theories, and paranoid speculation. You are probably the most dishonest person I've seen on this forum.

    If That's What You Believe...

... than I apologize to you. I have NEVER intentionally posted anything that was meant to deceive others. My intentions have always been to post the articles and my personal opinions in the best context possible.

As for your example, I'm not sure just what you are talking about, please post the topics and the parts of those topics that you are concerned about.

Again, I do not post anything with the intention of causing someone, even you, to trip and fall!

    Pastor Paul

Amen. Selfrighteousdude projects his own problems and issues on others. He talks about anger (which I have none toward him), yet he sends me a PM telling me to go to hell. He continually misreports and passes outright lies about Democrats, including the President. Yet if anyone reports a factual item about one of his heroes, he squeals like a stuck pig. Oh well, all I can do is pity him. He obviously has issues.

    You continue to Amaze Me...

You are so in-tune to finding out just how bad a person I am. My hat's off to you for seeing through and beyond my christian facade. You win again, mp.

    Wow, just a ridiculous thread.

I don't care for Glenn Beck. Frankly, I don't understand how true conservatives can champion him as either honest or intellectually developed. His arguments are almost always ad hominem. There are many better conservative pundits than Beck.

It is interesting to watch who consistently backs people like Beck on this board...in light of his buffoonery.

A conservative mormon is more valuable than a liberal baptist...?

    I Don't Disagree...

... I just think, after reading that post from Zaid Jilani, on what looks to be another Political Blog, that there was a lot of quotes used by the author, and I'd like to have seen the entire text of what Beck said, not a quote here, and a quote there.

Beck is in a catagorey of his own. I'm still trying to get to know what he is saying. It is often "emtionally" charged, and I'll agree with MP, he does show a lot of tears.

I'm sticking up for Beck, just questioning the validity of the post by Zaid Jilani. He would have done much better had he posted the entire text of that particular show, so we could see for ourselves what he was truly saying.

"in light of his buffoonery" Since that is what he often makes a point of - anyone listening to him knows he speaks of political issues in the midst of buffoonery. The buffoonery does not negate any truth that might be transmitted by it.

It is a bit obvious his religion is getting into his way as a communicator but that is his free choice after all.
