In that unions played no small part in the election of the current administration...

I think that from this date forward I will seek to avoid the purchase of union products whenever practical.

Nothing against union workers - this is a political statement against the union management that takes workers' dues - regardless of political leanings - and then contributes primarily to liberal democrats.

I would encourage anyone who disagrees with the leftward direction of the current administration to do likewise.

    Thoughts?

Good luck with that. So, are you going to buy more items produced in other countries?

Will you refuse to buy from non-union companies where management used corporate money for donations to Obama?

I am no fan of unions, and no doubt, they supported the present administration. However, the greatest cause to the election of this administration is voter anger over the inept, liberal administration of George Bush and his Republican, big government Congress. Voters expected a conservative, Constitutional government, and got one that reflects the Democrats values. If you are going to have socialist government anyhow, you might as well elect those who are experts at it, the Democrats.

If you want someone to point a finger at for the 2006 and the 2008 election, look at the Republicans that did not hold the Bush administration's feet to the fire.
