This film reveals the dishonesty of planned parenthood and sex education

BloodMoney is a documentary film that exposes the truth behind the Abortion Industry from the Pro Life perspective.

This film will examine the history of abortion in America, from the inception of Planned Parenthood and the profitability of abortion clinics, to Roe v. Wade, to the denial of when life begins, to the fight to save the lives of innocent babies, and the devastating effects it has had on the women that have had them.

    > to the denial of when life begins

That's not the problem, is it? The problem is when does the soul begin and Christianity has been arguing that for 2000 years. Why would God create a soul for a collection of undifferentiated cells that God knew that God would (spontaneously) abort?

Bill, I have asked that same question myself over the years. To you and I, it makes no sense that God would create a living and eternal soul for, as you say, "a collection of undifferentiated cells" that are going to spontaneously abort anyway.

Think of how many women who get pregnant and the fetus aborts before she even knows that she is pregnant.

But here is my confident answer to you.

I believe this with all of my heart and stand on all of my faith saying it.

If God chooses to create a living and eternal soul for a few cells that will only attach itself to the mother for a few days and the mother will never even know of the existence of the cells, then that is God's business.

Everything He does is good, right, and perfect. Does it always make sense? No. Do we understand it all? No.

But God's business is God's business. And I am confident that He never errs.

Why would God create a being that would turn its back on Him and then knowing before hand that He would send His Son to face a terrible death on our behalf?

Your question fails to support the slaughter of innocent unborn children or even establish that they have no soul. Incredible.

Why do you want to stop there?

By your logic why would God create a baby that would die at birth?

Why would God create a person that would die at the age of two?

Why would God create a person that would die at the age of five?

Why would God create a person who is mentally impaired and unable to make the decision to accept or reject Christ?

Why would God create a person who would live their entire life in some remote time or place and therefore never hears the Gospel?

    What's your answer. billwald?

If you wish to question God's Will, why stop where you did?

At some point, a soul DOES begin, and that's why we should err on the side of caution when it comes to abortion. Even if an embryo is "just a collection of cells" there IS a point where God defines life, where somehow, sometime, a soul begins. No one can deny that. Is it at 24 hours? 24 days? 3 months? Is it the exact same time for everyone? Why take a chance on destroying a life and soul if you don't really know?

As to question why God does anything, we are the clay, HE is the potter. He can do whatever he wants for his purpose and his glory and guess what? He doesn't owe us any explanation at all. It is by his mercy that we are not consumed. It's by his design that we're here. His ways are much, much higher than our understanding.

Since you asked, my answer is that in each of these cases, the persons have a personality, the null case is "saved," and they are all "grandfathered" into Heaven.

But this is changing the topic of my question to Rev Mitchell, which was about a collection of undifferentiated cells which has no personality. What, in your theology, does God do with this resurrected soul? Send it to Hell? This is why the RCC invented "Limbo," but I think they recently retracted or modified this doctrine.

If God sends this soul to heaven, does God invent a personality for it? Or if it is born brain dead. Dead is dead. Is this soul functionally brain dead? "God's ways . . . " doesn't help. It just a way of saying "I'm smarter than you are."

I think that was the original intent of the Supremes when they limited abortions to the 2nd trimester.

    Really?

You think that the Supreme Court made it's ruling concerning the 2nd trimester based on the soul and their religious beliefs?

    Really?

Here's your answer from the bible:

Proverbs 16:4 The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

God has a purpose to everything He does. Why would He create a person who would go the grave cursing His name? Well, He created the wicked for the day of evil. God has a purpose. You and I may not understand it, but that's because we are foolish human beings with finite minds. God has a purpose. I'll tell you that those babies that died in the womb, I believe they are in heaven right now, and I'll tell you that neither they nor God will think it was foolish and a waste of time when for all eternity they are praising Jesus Christ for salvation. God is a God of purpose.

    >What "personality" does the soul of a person who dies seconds after birth have?

Modern hypothesis is that the baby hears, feels, and responds to external stimuli. That's why mothers talk to and play music to the babies they carry. Also seems like some people are born "no good."

I think the chose a compromise between competing theological, constitutional, and moral arguments.

Then by your hypothesis does a deaf, blind, mute have no "personality" or no soul?

    Really, what are you smoking?
