If you're interested in studying a confessional, Reformed view of Bible versions, ms and translations Elder Steve Rafalsky has made some excellent posts on the Puritan Board. You can view a collection of links here.

He, it must be warned, adopts the views of men such as Hills,Waite,Cloud and William Grady on translational issues. He castigates Westcott and Hort with most demeaning language as well.

Thanks for the warning. This is the type I don't go out of my way to read.

Why? Both sides should be examined.

There certainly isn't a monolithic view of Bible versions within the Reformed community. And to agree 100% with the the first chapter of the Westminster Confession of Faith for instance, does not dictate that one should go only with a RT translation. You are making some invalid assumptions.

Are you familiar with the four writers I cited which JB agrees with regarding Bible translation issues? Only Ruckman,Riplinger,Texe Marrs and a select few others would be worse.

We have a long standing policy of not discussing other boards here. I agree with poster who sent a notification that this is a dangerous trend.
