Someone has stated: "The number one fact that does not have to be stated is that Jesus Christ is the head of every New Testement church". What is a New Testament Church? If someone told you they were a member of a New Testament Church; what would you think? Can a Baptist Church NOT BE a New Testament Church? Better yet: Is there anything such as a "New Testament Church"?????

There is "the Church". In Acts the sermon states that Moses and the Israelis during the 38.5 year wandering was "the Church". Jesus said He would build "His Church".

Local assemblies may or may not be part of "the Church" depending on if they hold to the true Gospel or not. Most assemblies are not; they misuse the name "church" as if it were a "denomination", ie, I'm going to the Catholic Church or The Lutheran Church meets down the street.

So for visible bodies/assemblies of members of "the Church" there are distinctives in doctrine and practice that make them "New Testament" (everything can be traced to the NT for their bases) or "Tradition/Denoinminational" (much is at the tradition or man-made thinking.

Our local body that met this morning, part of the "the Church" follows the regulative principle - try to conform our practice to that of the NT as our only authority. In subjective matters where there is no NT guideline (like using electricity or running the a/c - both of which were needed today) we enjoy great liberty.

It's probably no surprise to you Dr Bob that the LXX uses the word ecclesia over 80 times.

Moses departure "song" Deuteronony 31 ends with...

30 And Moses spake in the ears of all the congregation (LXX - ecclesias, Hebrew - QAHAL) of Israel the words of this song, until they were ended.
