As most of you know, Elton John just sang at Rush Limbaugh's wedding. Many have been critical of Elton for singing since Rush is so conservative. And many have been critical of Rush to have an open homosexu@l sing at his wedding.

If you had the means ($$$$...) and the influence (you know someone), would you invite Elton John to sing at your wedding, knowing his sexu@l preference?

    Why or why not?

    Salty

Rush said today, it was his brides dream to have Elton John sing at the wedding.

    No.

I've never liked his music that much.

If I were lost (no, not judging Rush), and my bride (whichever number she was) dreamed of having him sing, and I had the dosh? Yes, without a doubt.

Of course not. A wedding is a celebration before God. How could I have a sodomite bring glory to God?

That would be AWESOME. If I had the money, though, I'd hire him and Billy Joel and have them do Joel's "She's Always a Woman."

Seeing that all I believe in as far a weddings are concerned are the bride and the groom and a justice of the peace......no, I would not invite him to sing in the judge's chambers.

No. As much as possible, I would want anyone involved in my wedding to be a brother or sister in Christ.

irrational hatred of homosexuality: an irrational hatred, disapproval, or fear of homosexuality, gay and lesbian people, or their culture

    from this link

I do not hate homosexuals, and I do not have an irrational disapproval or fear. - Therefore, I am not a homophobe.

and as far as the cost - the OP stated "If you had the means ($$$$...) "

without even mentioning the homosex*al agenda that Elton brings aboard----he's way too "goofy" for me to invite to a wedding-----not even mentioning his ga* lifestyle--the dude just ain't what I would call "Normal"

Absolutely not. Even if I liked his music and had the money, I wouldn't invite a homosexual to sing anywhere.

Well, my hatred of them is rational so I guess the label doesn't apply to me either.
