A few weeks ago my 12 year daughter saw a billboard for a disney movie called "Toy Story 3" while we were driving to church. She asked me if it would be "Ok to view this film" I calmly explained to her that secular movies are against God and that Disney is clearly a tool of the Devil. I wanted to give her a more sound reason why I said no so she would not have any doubt. So I made "Disney" one of the topics of my Sermon last Sunday. As all us True Christians know, The Walt Disney Corporation is a tool of the devil but it requires a different approach in getting this message across to children. I assembled a short list warning why nobody should ever watch any of their evil movies. Help in contributing to the list would be greatly appreciated.
Tarzan - Encourages evolutionary THEORY by portraying monkeys being as intelligent as humans, walking and talking. And bringing man down to animal's level by showing a man living in the jungle, naked, and swinging from vines.

Beauty and the Beast - As we know from the Bible, the beast is another name for the Anti-Christ, the evil figure who will herald the end times. This movie tries to confuse children into thinking the Beast is really a nice, handsome prince in disguise.

Aladdin - Set amidst an obviously evil Muslim backdrop, this movie features a young man and a Princess who spend half the time half-nude on a carpet.

The Lion King - It is well known the plot of this movie was stolen from a play by a notorious Godless homosexual by the name of William Shakespeare.

Hercules - A complete mockery of Christianity. This movie blatantly promotes paganism, and suggests that the Greek pantheon of gods is true! Disgusting Satanist propaganda brainwashing our children.

Mulan - Promotes transvestism as being heroic and noble, and promotes feminazi ideals to young girls.

Lilo & Stitch - A story about a young girl who befriends a fury blue demon

Alice in Wonderland - Magic mushrooms, pipe smoke, psychedelic fantasy - this movie is promoting drug use to our children!

Snow White - a movie about a teenage runaway who moves in with seven strange men.

Fantasia - Promotes magic, sorcery and wizardry.

Peter Pan - Promotes witchcraft, shows children playing around with an evil spirit call "Tinkerbell", and encourages rebellion against parents.

Sleeping Beauty - in a clear mockery of our Risen Lord and Savior, this story features a girl who is dead but brought back to life with a magic kiss. Encourages premarital fornication.

101 Dalmatians - This movie suggests God was lying when He said man would have all dominion over beast, by portraying a woman wanting to make a fur coat out of an animal skin as cruel.

The Jungle Book - Promotes new age mentality for children to go out and befriend nature.

Pinocchio - A story about a puppet. As we know from Exodus, man is not supposed to form idols.

Cinderella - A story about an ungrateful girl who uses enlists the help of a witch to rebel against her step-mother.

Robin Hood - Steal from the rich to give to the poor? As if Obama wasn't doing enough to teach our children such rotten values.

Pocahontas - as well as promoting interracial romance, this movie lies about history by portraying Natives as being peaceful people who had their land usurped by cruel invading Europeans, rather than being savages who pre-stole God's country, America.

My sermon seemed to go over well with the Church Members. I may do a follow up Sermon next Sunday.

All I can say is that I am glad that I don't go to your church.

    You forgot about this one:

Bambi: in which evil hunters shoot Bambi's poor innocent mother and the little rabbit named Thumper is obviously tapping out the devilish beat of rock music.

Wait a minute, I do want to say more. My mom and dad taught me discernment. They didn't lock me away in some unrealistic sanitized legalistic world.

Yes, I think there are clear logical fallacies in what you have said.

Yet, you say that interracial marriages are wrong? Can you support that with Scripture? I believe Moses was in an interracial marriage and the criteria for marriage is between two believers. As well, I am the result of an interracial marriage and have no problem with my heritage. Since I am a 1/2 breed, as some may call me, what would you say is the most appropriate person for me to marry? Would it be wrong for me to marry either race, neither race, or another option?

BTW, deep down, I believe that post to be a trollin' post.

Need I remind those here that The Southern Baptist Convention has continuously challenged the Disney Empire over the unChristian and immoral material they label as "family entertainment". What True Christian in good Conscious can support and give dollars to an organization that has a "gay-Day" And now an amusement attraction devoted to Harry Potter. Walt Disney and everything they stand for are a disgrace to the Christain way of life.

Yep, he's a troll. With that said, sometimes trolls can be fun if they keep posting.

Perhaps you should ask the SBC who they do support indirectly through the annuity board. That question was asked a few years ago and the leadership said they had no control over where the money was invested.

Last time I checked, the entire world is a tool of Satan yet we still live in it. The only way to avoid his touch is to kill ourselves right now.

What I want to teach my children is truth and discernment - not showing that every living thing in this world is out to get them. My teens have shown me that they themselves can police themselves because I taught them skills without screaming EVIL over everything around. They are making wise choices because of that.

While we're at it, why don't we see what the Bible shows:

Song of Solomon - an R rated book if I've ever read one.
Job - the words of ungodly men
Revelation - beasts and serpents and monsters and demons and angels - oh my!
    Genesis - contains homosexulity

Anyone else care to add to the list?

However, when we see context - and discuss these things with our children, we teach them discernment. When we ban them, we do nothing other than to shield them from what is truly going on around them today and will end up with children who suddenly see that the world certainly doesn't seem to always be out to get them (because even though not everyone is saved, even the unsaved can be kind) and that maybe it's just kind of not so evil and terrible so it's OK to go out there to check it out.

I know you prepared a whole message but it's not one that is one that I would want to hear. I also don't see Jesus preaching on this (remember, there was a LOT of evil going on around Him in that time too) or the other writers of the New Testament such as John, Paul and Peter. I wonder why?

I am not offended by this allegation and remark. Instead I shall refer you to Ephesians 4:32. Speaking out against the Disney Corporation hardly makes one a "troll". If you want to support Disney then that is your decision. However it is best to ask yourself if that would indeed please and bring glory to God. And it is safe to say that the answer to that is no.

I assume you do not own a television. And, if you think Disney is a tool of the devil I assume you never go to a movie. What about a radio?

No one is calling for suicide to avoid the temptations and the tools of the devil. But it's like this, God gave us a great big apple, and He said don't touch it. He didn't say touch it once in a while; He didn't say take a nibble when you're hungry; He said don't touch it. Don't think about touching 'it, don't talk about touching it, don't think about talking about touching it.

At first I thought the original posting was a huge put-on. But the author's subsequent comment makes me wonder. All I can say is, "Get a grip."

Taking my grandchildren tomorrow to see Toy Story 3. Will look for the dismal stuff, but doubt I'll find it.

I will not have a Television in my home, especially with children in the home. On Friday evenings we as a family will enjoy some Christian radio programming and I will tune in to Christian radio on the drive to work. The Television is nothing but a window to a world that True Christians should avoid. As for Movies, The last and only time I went to an actual movie was to see "Beaches" Once is enough.

So has been stones (Matt 4:3)

So has the pinnacle of a temple (Matt 4:5)

So was a mountain (Matt 4:8)

So the rest of us will let you "true christians" avoid stones, temple pinnacles, mountains, and Toy Story.

The rest of us heathens will not run around like chicken little.

Man, have you ever read the book of Ezekiel? There's some raunchy stuff in there.

And some of Paul's talk (in the original language) about anatomy?

Better keep the Bible out of young people's hands!
