Like a wide-eyed kid in a candy store, Obama has run amok. Personally thinking, Obama has been granted more time in the candy store than we would permit and tolerate from another POTUS if he were not our first black president.

The truth is, a united Congress needs to step up, pull him out of the candy store, and make Obama start acting like the leader of the free world and last "Super Power."

He has been allowed way too much time to run through that candy store, eyes wide opened, as he makes a mess of everything from the economy and our growing, unsustainable debt; to a health-care bill that divided the people of this nation, and added another debt that will take multiple generations to pay for; to the dismantling of NASA, re-directing their goal from going to Mars, to be-friending the Muslims; to the Gulf oil disaster and fiasco; to his handling of terrorists, the war(s), and putting our GI's in harms way with ridiculous ROE's; to Arizona, and illegal immigration as a whole; to the growing unemployment problem; to remarks around the world, that belittled the generations of brave people who died for America; to the Chicago hoodlums he's invited along with to eat the candy in the store with him; to his attempt to change everything about America so quickly that "WE the People" are now spinning out of control with personal fear, frustration, hopelessness, despair, anger, and true disappointment in his abilities to lead America to new and greater heights, in a time that needed a great leader.

Yes!!! It is time that Congress step up to the plate, put down their petty partisan divisions, and call Obama out of the 'candy store' demanding that he start leading this nation out of the abyss of despair, an abyss he is more responsible for than he's willing to admit.

America deserves better than a wide-eyed man-child that has proven himself to be too immature to serve as our POTUS. Still, he's our POTUS, and he will need the assistance and direction of more experienced leaders if we, as a nation, can expect to survive the 'perfect storm' that is about to swallow America up and end more than 230 years of greatness.

It will take a Congress of united men and women to step up and look the man-child in the eyes and tell him that the candy store is closed.

It will take a united Congress to set this man-child back on track, and point him to the kind of maturity needed to get America out of this "leadership flame-out" and subsequent downward spiral.

It will take the men and women of Congress to lay aside their differences and hold a confrontational, face-to-face, eyeball-to-eyeball meeting if this nation has any hope of being what our founding-fathers had set in motion nearly 235 years ago!!!

It will take a village to make a man out of this wide-eyed child. And this kind of change, the kind of change we can believe in, must come now, not later!

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

You have way too much time on your hands. I am not sure what you mean by "candy store," but I will take this administration over the last on any day.

Not much for freedom or your children's ability to financially survive, eh RS?

(and no, I didn't like GW Bush. But to even hint that Obama's doing a better job shows ignorance on a meta-level about current events and presidential (in)aptitude.

Is this the way you teach the youth at the church in which you serve to respond toward those with whom they disagree?

Do you really think Congress could point anyone in the right direction? They are more inept, corrupt, and clueless than the president.

Look, I'm going to give you some good advice. Reduce the amount of time you spend concerning yourself with politics each day. I appreciate your concern over the country, and I share many of the same concerns, but I think that you spend too much time consumed with politics.

In reality, you as an American should not tolerate either one, equally evil.

We have the government which our Constitution designed for us.

    >Not much for freedom or your children's ability to financially survive, eh RS?

Every system has a top 20% and a bottom 20%. All my kids are doing OK, some better than others.

That's only because the bill hasn't come due yet.

    Time will tell.

Wow Paul, Brother Barry & Company must be getting to you. What did Americans expect when we went to the polls & voted this den of thieves in? No prior leadership at a time when this country economically is on the balls of our butt cheeks, two wars & blah, blah, blah. Did we expect anything different from the Bush administration or did we expect Robin Hood who robs from the rich & gives to the poor (being most of the electorate making less than $200K)

Now we are calling for Barry's head?!?:laugh: Oh this is too funny. Point in fact, anyone who supported the Chicago gang are getting what they deserve.....INEPTITUDE!

Please, do take it - take it far away to some little emerging socialist state that can appreciate such governance.

There is nothing in the Constitution which specifies the proper economic system.

He Is Not Getting to Me, EWF....

I didn't vote for him, in fact, I argued with many good friends who did, and they're now in their bathroom, 'tossing their cookies'. Obama has truly upset those who believed in him, but, like I told them, he wanted to implement "change", and that is what he's doing. In that way, Obama is living up to his campaign promises, and he deserves credit and a slap on the back and a team 'high-five'.

I think folks thought that change was simply taking us away from the Bush years, and their hate for him. Unfortunately, like mice being led by the piper to their eventual ocean swim, they danced to the polls and put this inexperienced Community Organizer in the WH, and now they are in a world of emotional hurt.

I can honestly tell you that 17 of 23 friends and acquaintances have told me they are fed up with Obama, and would vote for anyone, just to get him out of the WH.

BTW, they also beg me not to tell them "I told you so!" So as a kind, loving brother in Christ, I don't tell them the "I told you so line". I simply smile at them as they wrestle with their huge misjudgment of character.

Time does so much to shine the light on the sins of man, and I, like you, knew that Obama was not what he appeared to be. He was a "wolf in sheep's clothing!"

Well, the Bill of Rights would strongly indicate otherwise.

Please explain how the bill of rights specifies an economic system.
