    According to an internal U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services memo going the rounds of Capitol Hill and obtained by National Review, the agency is considering ways in which it could enact “meaningful immigration reform absent legislative action” — that is, without the consent of the American people through a vote in Congress.

    “This memorandum offers administrative relief options to . . . reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals present in the United States without authorization,” it reads.

    Also: “In the absence of Comprehensive Immigration Reform, USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals and groups by issuing new guidance and regulations, exercising discretion with regard to parole-in-place, deferred action and the issuance of Notices to Appear (NTA), and adopting significant process improvements.”

    The Congress needs to enact comprehensive immigration reform and do it this year.

    I agree with you here. This deal should not fool us, in what BHO had wrote and was saying, we knew of most of what he would try and do, he didn't hide it. Reagan messed up on it, why do it again?

    Ya sure, you betcha. Now that our manufacturing jobs have been sent off shore we will need the field hand jobs for the high school class of 2011.

    Off subject. Our jobs have gone off shore because Americans and the rest of the world can't afford products made by American labor.
    The unions took care of their folks to a point but made it very hard on the rest of Americans. Going back in time, my father use to say how can a man making 50 dollars a week buy a car which is made by labor getting 5 dollars an hour plus health care and retirement?

    We are in the Wal Mart world, cheap prices and a lot of cheap products.
    I sold new cars when I was in college at one time and the mark up on the basic car was 21 per cent plus extras like radio and so on. You could sell a car or two every two or three weeks and do real well. I don't know but I don't think the mark up is as much today, everything is price.

    Wrong...manufacturing jobs have been pushed off shore by regulations and taxes and demand for a pay scale that will not support the market.

    The last few administrations have failed to enforce them and now when a state is trying to, this administration takes them to court.
