I never thought that American Budweiser had a leg to stand on in this one. How could they as Budweiser had been brewed as Budweiser since the 13th century in the Czech Republic.

I am told the Czech Budweiser is a much better brew. I do not like beer or any alcoholic drink ... just do not like the taste of alcohol ... which I am told is a blessing.

And a fine brew it is, too. Back in the day I was in the Army stationed in Germany. madre and I went to Berchtesgarten for a week with a day trip to Austria. We had lunch at a gasthaus in Salzburg and there I sampled my first Czech Budweiser. There is absolutely no comparison between the real Bud and the American counterfeit. Anheuser-Busch should be embarrassed to cloak their watery swill in the name of a fine European lager.

Western European lagers are the world's best beers. Americans cannot brew beer. There are some good American Ales.

An interesting fact....I liked the Mexican lagers, I thought they were like the Bavarian brews. Then I found out that Mexico had a wave of German immigrants in the 1800's, or so. They brought their brewing styles to the new world, and that's why......
