Open Letter to All Muslims

If American Muslims have truly assimilated into this society, as they'd have us to believe, it is time for them to stand up [as one voice] and demonstrate the depth of their compassion for this society, by rescinding the request to build a Mosque across from 'Ground Zero.'

Unless the Muslim nation and faith are socially deaf and indifferent, there is no way they can deny hearing the cries of incensed Americans over their plan to trample on the sanctity and memory of those who died on September 11, 2001 at the hand of fanatics from within their faith.

Though they may have the full support of the U.S. Constitution behind their efforts to erect this Mosque, none of them can deny that the very presence of this 'house of worship' will reap a much deeper sense of resentment from those who will not soon forget that day of personal loss. Acting on their right to build this Mosque will only serve to create a deeper abyss of a separation and societal chasm between them and their adopted countrymen.

The right thing for the Muslim people is to move their plans to another empty lot, far from where the patriotic hearts of Americans will resonate for years to come. Unfortunately, for unsullied Muslims, the blood of nearly three-thousand innocent men, women and children, will remain fresh upon the hands of a small group of Muslims for years to come!

Forgiveness comes easier than the ability to forget!

If you love America, respect the memory of the dead, and the living, and end your pilgrimage to build this particular Mosque.
