James 2:16 If one of you says to him, "Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it?

How does forcing someone to buy something provide for another's physical needs?

Perhaps we could end world hunger by telling people that they have to buy food.

"Judge not that ye be not judged." No judgment in the other post, just advice. Touched a raw nerve I guess.

When you see a person in need, do not pass by on the other side of the road.

You would do well to heed your own advice.

Sorry but your reputation proceeds you in this area.

Yup - self important arrogant blowhards rub me the wrong way.

Which brings us back to the topic of the OP.

So how does forcing someone to buy what YOU think that they need helping them?

I don't want anyone to force me to buy something that I have either decided that I do not need, do not want or can not afford - so I would not force anyone else to do it either.

How is forcing someone to buy something that YOU decided that they need providing for their needs?

It is obvious that have no relevant response.

I can fully understand why as your position is defenseless.

Forcing someone to buy something that they either do not want or can't afford is not "providing for their needs".

    Everyone here can see that.

Really? Obama is going to give the police the power to arrest you if you don't produce proof of health insurance when they ask?

No - he is going to sic the IRS on you instead.

The arrest comes when you don't pay up to the IRS.
