I sure hope so, it's been a long season. My Orange Basement is starting to get depressing.

I hope we can get it done, USC has a habit of falling apart in the late part of the season. It will be interesting to see if Bray gets more playing time this week, and how he does. Also, kind of feel like we are due for a turnaround game (kind of like UGA had against us).

It has been a depressing season, but we've got a lot of youth/inexperience and 4 of our 5 losses so far were to "at the time" Top 10 teams.

Personally, I think Dooley has what it takes to bring TN back to the top of SEC, if the fans will give him time.

I don't think we can afford another Coach, that's for sure. Dooley did a pretty decent job coming in and picking up the slack in recruiting.

I'm not sure how I feel about Chaney yet...and I really hate how quickly we abandon our running game. There are so many things I see our team do on offense and it is so frustrating. Our offense has been cursed since Randy Sanders initially took the job, and with a brief return by Cutcliffe it's just never been the same.

I see things like the LSU game and glimpses of hope, but then I see how we barely beat a bad UAB team (and they got destroyed a week or two ago) and I have no idea what November holds. I only see one more "for sure" win on our schedule.

Honestly...I'm praying hard for Mike Hamilton to be shown the door. Bring someone in (FULMER) to be the AD and bring some positive atmopshere to the University. They need it.

Well we didn't get it done:BangHead:

Looks like Bray will be the starter next week. It would be nice to win the last four and still make it to some kind of a bowl game.

I think Bray will start, too, and it has nothing to do with talent. I disagreed with Simms getting benched. But Simms being a Simms ran his mouth during and after the game (he blasted the coaches and Bray on the sidelines) and took a shot at Bray in the postgame. So I'd say the coaching staff knows a Bowl is out, so give Bray the keys and let him go to the school of hard knocks.

I'd love to go 6-6. Not sure how I feel about Ole Miss and Kentucky. Kentucky may finally break the streak.

If Dooley can go 6-6, he'll get votes for Coach of the Year. I don't expect it.

Maybe I've been drinking too much Doolaid, but I think we can win out. With Ole Miss and Kentucky at home all four games are in-state. Memphis and Vanderbilt shouldn't be a problem. Ole Miss and Kentucky should be the toughest games, but Ole Miss hasn't been stellar theirselves this year and might be looking ahead to games against LSU and Miss. State. And while Kentucky probably has their best chance in breaking the streak this year, they are still Kentucky.:tongue3:

Yes Kentucky is still Kentucky, but if you can't run the ball (and we can't), Kentucky has shown they can beat or outscore a passing game (ask South Carolina). Plus, I don't know if we can contain Randall Cobb.

Ole Miss is beatable. Problem is, they can beat you too. They put up points. We don't. They hung 55 on Fresno St, got by UK with 42 (Granted, it's UK), 31 on Auburn and 24 on Arkansas. If THAT Ole Miss shows up, look out. If the Ole Miss shows up that couldn't find the car keys against Vandy or Bama, we have a chance.

Memphis is very beatable. I think we'll edge out Vandy in Nashville. Anything from 4-8 to 6-6 is on the table. And mess around with Vandy like Ole Miss did and end of days is near. 5-7 is likely. I don't think we'll get by both Ole Miss and UK.

I hope they take what worked via Memphis (probably the worst program in D1) and make it work the next 3 weeks. Bray looked good, but he also made some bad passes that won't work against Ole Miss or UK.

I still see 5-7 being where we end up, but I can hope!

Tell me how you felt about Lane Kiffin, while he was there, what he brought as far as being HC.

Raider fan here, couldn't like the guy in Oakland.

Al Davis kept his money, I have to admit enjoyment when Kiffin didn't win his case with Oakland.

My brother might be, he usually goes while visiting some of his wife's family in Nashvegas.

I'm hoping we play the Tarheels, that will be ironic after Hamilton weasled out of the game next year.

I was indifferent on the hire. At the time, I think Tennessee rushed just to get someone, and I think they really liked Monty and Orgeron coming onboard. It's easy to say now that it was a bad hire, but I think at the time it wasn't. I'm not a UT guy who was bashing him from day one, although I do get a kick out of him struggling and walking into a pile of doo doo now.

I don't think he left us in as bad as shape as everyone wants to say, but he didn't do us any favors the way he left. The worst part is the Offense and Defense having to learn a new scheme for the 4th and 3rd straight year, respectively. That stinks.

I hope that Dooley is the guy. He has the composure, he's smart and he seems to be able to recruit well. I'm not as impressed by the 4 wins in a row so much as I am impressed with Tyler Bray. Our November schedule was absurdely bad (as it usually is). I'm looking forward to a decent team in a bowl and seeing what this team can do with 3 weeks off.

It'll be them, or Maryland? Is that what I'm seeing?

UNC is a good team...will they have some of their guys left?

Hamilton needs to be let go. How this guy gets promotions and pay raises is beyond me. All the crap with Kiffin and Pearl? Ultimately on Hamilton.

Glad he's gone, never saw that he was that great of a coach, great recruiter though, overall he brought nothing but trouble. Only things to thank him for is he didn't get us in the Cam Newton mess, and he recruited Tyler Bray (the next Payton Manning).
