    Proverbs 30:21-23
    V.21 For three [things] the earth is disquieted, and for four [which] it cannot bear:
    V.22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;
    V.23 For an odious [woman] when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.

    ===================================================================
    “For three [things] the earth is disquieted,”
    V.21A -THREE THINGS....THAT ❝SHOULD❞ MAKE US UNEASY-
    (But no longer do:)
    --------------------------------------------------
    Because we have been influenced:
    by this wicked world!
    ===================================================================
    “and for four [which] it cannot bear: “
    V.21B -A FOURTH THING.....THAT SHOULD BE INTOLERABLE-
    (But it really isn’t to us:)
    --------------------------------------------------
    But according to God’s Word, it should be!
    ===================================================================
    “For a servant when he reigneth;”
    V.22A -A SURPRISING STATEMENT....TO FIND IN GOD’S WORD-
    i.e. (Especially in light of yesterday’s election:)
    With all the “tea party” wins:
    ------------------------
    Regular people shouldn’t run the government!
    “servant” Lit.(someone unprepared)
    --------------------------------------------------
    -THIS GOES BACK TO......GOD’S VIEW OF DEMOCRACY-
    That we see in Daniel 2:31, with the head of gold:
    I.e. The kind of government God thinks is best!
    ------------------------
    Thus.....we are really suppose to have:
    A Republic!
    ===================================================================
    “and a fool when he is filled with meat;”
    V.22B -THE MAIN PROBLEM.....WITH A DEMOCRACY-
    (People can vote..to give themselves things:)
    ------------------------
    Thus a fool...will be filled with meat!
    --------------------------------------------------
    -THE REASON.....THIS SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK FOR LONG-
    Because this meat is coming from somewhere!
    ===================================================================
    “For an odious [woman] when she is married;”
    V.23A -GOD’S......”PROPHETIC” WARNING TO DEMOCRACY-
    (The kind of world it will give us:)
    -------------------------------------------------
    ➀ “odious” Lit.(A hateful person:)
    ➁ “woman” (Is in italics:)
    ➂ “married” (The rights of marriage:)
    ------------------------
    = Hateful people wanting the rights of marriage!
    --------------------------------------------------
    Democracy is the only government:
    That puts up with homosexuality!
    ===================================================================
    “and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.”
    V.23B -SOMETHING THAT NONE OF.....US SHOULD TOLERATE-
    (People moving out of their place:)
    A casteless society!
    ---------------------
    This should be intolerable to us?!?
    --------------------------------------------------
    -THE BENEFITS....OF PEOPLE BEING IN DIFFERENT ❝CASTES❞-
    Less crime & more order:
    Still a freedom to witness to others in your own caste!

    An interesting observation from Sir Winston Churchill:

    A democracy is absolutely the worst form of government that man has ever devised.....except for all the others.

    Whats Gods view?

    Today God is doing what He has been doing since the dawn of creation.

    Drawing people to Himself, and saving...through Christ...the "whosoever wills"

    Amen...and Praise the lord.

    Our hope isn't in what they do on Capitol Hill. It is in what's been done on Calvary's Hill!

    Another Churchill quote: The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.

    After two conversations today in a coffeeshop I'm not certain one needs to wait 5 minutes.

    All you have to do is watch a couple episodes of Jay Leno's "Jaywalking." It scares me to know how little folks know (or seemingly care) about what's really important.

    As someone once said, "If you think education is expensive, try ignorance!"

    I am not sure, but I don’t think God could even be considered “white”, but He is Supreme!
    His, is the only "stuff" I have been reading.

    Absolutely. Now who are these "whosoever wills"?

    How did they go from totally unwilling to come to the light to totally willing?

    Hmmmmm...

    I told our people on Sunday that what we would do on Tuesday was important thru time, but what we do every Sunday of the year impacts time and eternity. So which one should we give our priorities to?

    So, you want social castes?

    Either I'm misunderstanding the heck out of your post (not that hard to do), or that there's pretty creepy.

    Hello rbell

    Nice to hear from you.

    You asked..........
    That would indeed be creepy.

    No I am not, I am just pointing out how the Bible “seems” to be supporting it.

    Wow, lots of scary stuff there stilllearning.

    You don’t think regular people should run the government? You think the educated elites are more prepared than commons sense tea party types. Didn’t God call a shepherd named David to be king of Israel? Wasn’t his preparation working in the fields? Didn’t Jesus grow up in the house of a blue collar carpenter? Were not the disciples fishermen and other “regular people?”

    You complain that democracy is the only government that puts up with homosexuality. Was Sodom a democracy? It’s not our government that puts up with sin; it’s the people that elect our government. That is what democracy is all about, and no our citizens are not perfect, but at least we still have a voice.

    Finally you advocate a caste system where people are held to their place in society. Wow, I don’t even know where to touch this one except to say that God delights in lifting up the humble and bringing down the proud. Opportunity for movement beyond where you were born or what you were given is what America is all about. What about us being equal in God’s eyes?

    No, I think God is very pleased that people of our nation are speaking out against the oppressors who would rule over us.

    Hi North Carolina Tentmaker

    You asked.....
    Did you not see, that all I am doing is quoting Scripture.
    (My opinion is nowhere in this post!)
    --------------------------------------------------
    Next you said..........
    I am not complaining about anything! This was just an observation.
    It is clear, that entire socialites in non-democratic countries, are “don’t ask, don’t tell”!
    --------------------------------------------------
    You also said.......
    Once again, I am not advocating anything! I am simply pointing out what this part of Scripture seems to say.

    This is the discussion part of this forum, isn’t it?
    --------------------------------------------------
    Lastly you said........
    Now, it my turn to say wow, because you started out saying, “I think”!

    This may be what you think, but the Bible seem to clearly say, that God “hates” rebellion.
    Now it’s clear, that voting, is not rebellion, but some forms of “speaking out”, may be considered rebellion.

    You need to learn the difference between descriptive and prescriptive.

    Otherwise, you might promote slavery.

    Still learning, I don't understand what you're saying here. How do think our government should be run? If "normal" people aren't supposed to govern, who do you think should?

    Our government was founded on the principle of "by the people, and for the people". What do you find wrong with that?

    Those who appropiate Gods provision through faith alone in Christ.

    They came to their senses and took God up on His offer.

    Tom...

    Sunday is just another day of the week. God is no respecter of days in this sense. We are Gods people every day of the week and we are on mission every day of the week...even on Sunday.

    A person can be born of the Spirit any day of the week, and in any of a million particular situations.

    Our regular gatherings are of course a blessing, but there is no special day of the week.
