    Ok Salty I'm going to bite who are these people?

    I've already already stood in judgement and been found worthy of eternal life purchased by the Blood of the Lamb.

    People have been setting dates for the end for a long time, because they seem to ignore God's words that no man knows the day nor the hour. It doesn't mention year or month though--so I'm hoping it will be this month. :jesus:

    I'm sure that Lord was glad to find that out. He was probably planning to come in April, 2011, but now He'll have to cancel that. Too bad! :smilewinkgrin:

    So that organization is uslesss. Even Jesus does not know when He is coming back to judge the world.

    world = software that plays on hardware Earth.

    In God's economy (AKA = also known as: dispensation):

    hour = the appropriate time
    day = the appropriate time
    month = the appropriate time
    year = the appropriate time
    century = the appropriate time
    millennium = the appropriate time

    If i do not know the hour, i do not know the appropriate time
    If i do not know the day, i do not know the appropriate time
    If I do not know the appropriate time (day nor hour) then I do not kinow: the month, the year, century, millennium, etc. I do know this scriptural fact: the Lord is coming soon, it has not happened as of 13:47 (1:37PM) on 07 Nov 2010, it will happen soon.

    BTW (by the way), I beleive that the Lord will come get his own FIRST and judge them and seven years later come get (you know GET!) the others to judge. There are, in fact, several Judgement days. What is sure: you will be judged, just and unjust alike -- JUDGEMENT DAY is comming for all, just not the same 8-hour-work shift day, 24-hour-day on one place on the earth, 48-hour-day (like 07 NOV 2010) on all places on earth, one year 'day', seven year 'day' of Judgement (the Tribulation Judgement Period) one millennial 'day' (like the DAY OF THE LORD = the literal millennial messanic reign of Jesus on the Throne of David

    Amen, Sister Amy.G -- you are so RIGHT ON!

    I believe that Matthew 24:4-14 is the signs that the Church Age (AKA: Age of the Gentiles, Age of Grace, etc) continue. So this false prophecy is a sign that the Chruch Age is still with us. We need to get back to our job for the BOSS LORD TASKMASTER: getting folks to trust Messiah Jesus and work with us. I ain't going to heaven alone -- I'd like to take some with me. AMEN? anybody? Jesus Saves!

    Ed Edwards and Jon-Marc,

    Two viewpoints are expressed between you.
    Ed states:
    But Jon-Marc has a different take:
    I think you may have no inkling, be it ever so small, about the "appropriate time for Christ's coming" if it is true that "Jesus Himself doesn't know when He is coming to to judge the world"!

    Yet Jesus knew the End of the Great Tribulation will come before He "gathers the elect from the earth upon the 4 winds and then immediately sends the angels to gather the same elect upon the same 4 winds with a great sound of the trumpet...and Paul states the "gathering place will be in the sky". So Jesus knows when He is coming. Twice we have His promise that He is coming AFTER THE GREAT TRIBULATION. Mark 13:24-27 and Matt.24:31 and Paul refers to the "place of gathering (2 Thess.2:1) for all those who come with Jesus"!!

    No one can dispute Paul, who spoke "by the word of the Lord, that God will bring WITH Jesus those who are asleep (dead) in Christ." None can prove the Great Tribulation Martyrs are excluded from coming with Jesus at the Rapture and the gathering of ALL the Elect unto Jesus after the great tribulation" so
    He appears with ALL the Saints!!!
    Dan.7:25-27; Zech.14:5-7; John 6:38-40; I Thess.3:13; Rev.17:14.

    I submit that both of you fail to see the intent of Jesus to caution those who "see the signs the Day of the Lord" against trying to set the exact day and hour. The reason for His caution is that believers will "know the end is near when the abomination sits in the temple" for 1260 days. Revelation verifies this number of days as the exact period during which the Two Prophets will arrive from heaven to oppose the Beast before Christ comes WITH ALL the Saints as taught by Daniel, Zechariah, Jesus, Paul and John in Revelation.
