I know he has since apologized, but it is strange that a black man, let alone the POTUS would have the immaturity to tell a group of opponents "To go to the back of the bus!" Martin Luther King must have rolled over in the grave when he heard that

It is even more bizarre that the POTUS would exhibit the kind of immaturity to call his opponents "Enemies!" Unless he really, truly thinks that way somewhere in the back of his mind?

Let's not forget the incident when he stuck his nose into the black university professor and the detective who busted him for breaking into his own home.

He used the "F-word " accidentally on a national television broadcast.

Again, I know he's said, "Sorry" but his verbal gaffes are becoming more than slips of the tongue.

I'm beginning to believe there is a Fruedian agenda behind every calculated thought and word that proceeds from his mouth.

It seems to me that Obama just doesn't care, or he's more audacious, arrogant, disrespectful and insolent than the title of his book.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

Not a fan of King O myself, but that bus comment was recently put into context here on the BB in another thread, and when read in context is about pushing a bus out of a ditch, not the civil rights issue of sitting in the back of a bus.

To see Obama's real agenda, you should read the recent Forbes article written by Dinesh D'Souza...excellent read.

To be really honest, it's ridiculous how much his name gets thrown around on here. I think our attitudes would all be better if we quit listening to all the conservative hype that thrives on soundbites without context.

I didn't vote for him and I don't particularly care for him, but the person in the White House doesn't really change my Kingdom calling.

It's so silly that people let this kind of thing make them so hacked off.

    Yep, you've said it well.

I just don't understand why everything the man does suddenly becomes a case for conservative enraging?

I am also bothered at how fast so many good Christian people have run to the RNC positions as a good option to vindicate their animus towards our current President.

The OP is a perfect example of the callow, reactionary trend where we are outraged by something we hear, never check it out, and yell about but are absolutely dead wrong about it. Makes people look five times foolish.

J, we shouldn't lose track of the fact that the liberal progressive agenda of this administration could derail our economy and bankrupt our beloved nation and negatively impact the future of our children and grandchildren.

To be privy to handing over an unpayable debt to my grandkids by my failure to respond to this agends is IMO wrong.

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

While my eternity is secure, I'm not going to ignore the temporal and/or the scriptural mandate of the provision of my family.

    In addition:
Jesus said "seek ye first the Kingdom of God" not "seek ye only the Kingdom of God".

I do agree that actions speak louder than words. An action that all Christians can do apart from voting.

    1 Timothy 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
    3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

I don't ignore it. I vote and I read about what is going on.

But I don't let it consume me like a lot of these folks do. For instance, I think there is something very, very unhealthy about tuning into Rush and Beck and Hannity everyday. Those guys are less than objective reporters and they don't handle themselves well.

No more so than listening to Olbermann or Matthews. Come on guys Rush, Beck and Hannity together are less biased than the average msm talking head.

If laughter is good for our health as many claim, then I am much healthier after reading Tent's comment.

Thanks Tent, I needed a good laugh today.

For what its worth, the moment you think any pop culture/media talking head doesn't have an agenda and political presuppositions behind their presentations/rhetoric you are fooling yourself.

As a note: I don't listen to any talk radio, it's senseless, foolish, corporate drivel in all directions. I'd encourge everyone to stop listening to these people and stop listening to news programs masquerading as news but are actually polemical diatribes.

Go out and read news from many resources that are international, national, and local. Take time to get informed and stop giving up your intellectual birthright to someone who wants to inform you to be like them. Its madness.

Okay, enough of that...gee its a nice day outside! ;)

As has the majority of our presidents (and probably VP's) in the last fifty years.

Just for clarity, are you talking about White House Correspondents' Dinner?

I don't listen to them either. I think they're all a bunch of blowhards, frankly. And there's no way one can call one side less biased than the others. It's a matter of perspective.

Even if it was, is that better than using it in private?

It must have been bleeped, anyway.

This is a political forum. The president dominates all conversation on politics.

If you quit listening to all the liberal hype that thrives on lies and half truths, criticism of Obama might bother you a lot less.

It's funny - you're spewing the same bile that you absorb from your attention to a special brand of divisive conservatism.

By not listening to any of that stuff, I'm staying away from the half truths on both sides.

I didn't vote for Obama and I don't care for him much, but I'm not going to let it dominate my thinking. I'm not against discussing politics, but when all we have to say are negative things about people, it doesn't help anything.

    Baloney.

You're just another liberal that wants to divert attention from the dishonesty and inept policies of your hero.

What are you talking about, dude? He's not my hero. I didn't even vote for him. Not caring for wacko conservative hosts does not make me a liberal. I'll thank you to stop harassing people with the venom of your loose tongue.
