and I ended up having to pull my pants down for them. (ps, don't wear one piece items that snap at the bottom, they set off the hand-held metal detecting wand and it doesn't turn out well, I was a rookie flyer at the time, I learned FAST, trust me!)

I think I know the problem now. I didn't have any contraband.

Keep reading and you'll see the statement that EVERY SINGLE PIECE of contraband got through.

I mean really. So what's up with all the down-low inspections? I'm guessing not a single one of the people they actually caught with bombs or weapons prior to boarding (have they caught a single person yet? I haven't heard that on the news, ever) didn't have them stuffed down their drawers.

    I'm not feeling the safety.

    Are you?

I used to be all for this.

Until I stood there being searched as tons of people walked by that looked a lot more suspicious than I ever could.

Why do I say that? Well, because of all the terrorists I've seen photos of, the majority looked like they were of middle eastern decent. If the majority of terrorists are of middle eastern decent, isn't it logical to spend more time searching people of middle eastern decent?
Seriously, look at this list and tell me how many people are on here that look white/Jewish/Asian. (all of us are one or more of those three things in my immediate family)
    http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/wanted_terrorists

They have names like Mohammed, Saif, and Ayman. Not names like Gina or Carl.

And anyone who looks like those guys do and has a name like that and is NOT a terrorist should completely understand and not complain about racial profiling.

Because you know what? If the majority of terrorists looked like me, I would shut my mouth and not complain for a single second because I care more about the safety of my fellow humans than I care about being patted down. And I didn't care BEFORE about that until I realized that I and my children do NOT fit the profile and that for all the times I've flown since 911, I never saw anyone who looked like those terrorists being singled out for inspection. Most everyone I saw being pulled aside looked like they were of white European descent and didn't fit the profile at all.

But does it really matter? They don't inspect everyone the same and can't do so, and even when they try, they fail to catch very obvious things.

Like fully loaded guns in a carry on bag.

Good thing he wasn't a terrorist!

Good thing you didn't make frequent references to the US constitution. If you had you might have been given a free flight and renditioned off to some foreign country and never heard from again.

The fact of the matter is you do fit the profile of a potential terrorist Gina.

The federalies have been training government agencies all over America what to look for in a terrorist suspect. I don't have the time tonight to pull up all the police training manuals proving this that I have posted several times on BB already.

I have Thursday and Friday off so I will sit down then and post them for you. If I forget please PM me and remind me. In the mean time you can go over to my thread "It's begining to look alot like Russia" (in politics) to get a glimpse of the Maricopa County Joint Terrorism Task Force pamphlet that tells the police there what to look for. Click on "4th Amendment Blues PT 1" Better still just CLICK HERE.

This is just one of many reports and training manuals I have already posted.
