Some of this stuff is rather tech-ish and pedantic.

But some of it is a bit scary. Other facets of this legislation invite the typical freedom-averse tryanny so common in our government nowadays (particularly from the leftist side).

I'm troubled by the government price controls. More abject stupidity--the government sticking its nose where it doesn't belong.

As mentioned, my concern is that the government will get its nose in the tent--and will use this regulatory power to flex its muscle and censor content.

One might say, "But this regulation has nothing to do with content." Maybe you're right. But then again--we see how these goons operate. You take one obscure principle or clause, and you run roughshod over the First Amendment with it.

(When in doubt, read up on fascist trash such as the "Fairness Doctrine." One cannot be for freedom and support such garbage. This, IMHO, is in a similar vein.)

The United Nations is considering whether to set up an inter-governmental working group to harmonise global efforts by policy makers to regulate the internet.

Establishment of such a group has the backing of several countries, spearheaded by Brazil. SOURCE

Those who make their living lying fear the truth more than anything else. Of course they don't want us to have easy access to it.

There is a straightforward way to end the controvery over the Fairness Doctrine on the public's airways. Privatize them and sell them to private individuals and businesses, and put the proceeds to a payment toward the national debt.

    You didn't? Funny I didn't either.

But, then I did NOT vote for the repeal of DADT, obamacare, or any of ther other things those Socialist Progressives have shoved down our throats with an arrogance rivaled only by satan's himself!

They don't care a bit about America or its people. Period!

The god(ess) of this age has them singing along with its siren call and they are so blinded a million candle power bulb couldn't illuminate their denseness!

However, the elected representatives of the people did vote for those things. We have a republic, a representative form of government. If one does not like how they vote, then we can withhold our vote from them if they run for re-election.

Good luck with all that Ken. Diebold with their electronic voting machines have made sure every vote counts . . . for who ever they want.

Yeah, I know what you mean, poncho. Sometimes one has to seriously wonder about the accuracy of the vote count in the United States and whether it reflects how people actually voted.

Doesn't really matter much who wins anyway when the only choice you have to begin with is between globalist "R" and globalist "D". Ken my ole buddy if you want to be sure to be on the winning team every election just vote for a "war president" that will represent global banking and corporate interests. Because unless there is a revolution of the mind in this country soon that's all we're ever going to get.

Scary video, that, about how little we the people know about civics. Just after the 8 minute mark, I found it ironic that the video showed a quote by Jefferson, with a note that he was the 2nd president. Actually, Adams was the 2nd president!
