Hey all, I've been checking out the board and reading old threads the past week or so and finally decided to register today so I could get in on the discussion. Anyways I'm 25 I've been married to my wonderful wife a little over two years and I'm a member of a sbc, but I'm not a fan of commitees or pot luck dinners if you can believe that. Any questions, I'm an open book.

Okay, I've gotta ask about your username mets65. If you tell me the "mets" part is an abbreviation or acronym for something then a hearty welcome to BB. Now if the "mets" refers to the baseball team from New York then I have just one thing to say. Thanks for stopping by. Now leave.

Welcome from Kentucky. Pay no attention to Padre, he's from up in Yankeeland somewhere and believes himself to be a great deerslayer.

Tobaccoville. That's interesting. Is it for real? It's sounds like a place I myself could have been from. Never been there yet it sounds familiar.

Well to answer a couple questions, yes I am a die hard Mets fan, born and raised in the south. Not really sure how that one happened. And you are correct Tobaccoville is just south of Pilot Mountain on 52. Also Tobaccoville is where RJ Reynolds is pretty much based now so that may be why it sounds familiar. MCdirector where are you from in Winston-Salem? Nice to see a neighbor on here!

    Mets,

I live almost on Wake's campus. We are SBC too and attend a church in High Point.

Braves fan here. We were in Atlanta last move. BUT we've got the Dash and the Grasshoppers here! :tongue3:

You have my sympathy. (Twins fan here, also a Rays fan.)

We'll take Johan Santana back, if you're done with him.

That's one of our few bright spots. Although players that return from the Mets are considered damaged goods.

We have neither, unless we are trying to string up Salty, or want to go on a cruise with Dr. Bob.

    Welcome to the board.
