In the future, the world is going to experience 1000 year of peace, with Jesus Himself ruling the world from Jerusalem.
And even though Jesus will physically be on Earth, He will not force anybody to trust Him for salvation; Therefore, even though the people of the world, will be given 1000 years of peace, the vast majority of them will still be rejecting Christ as their Lord and savior........
    Micah 4:1-5
V.1 ¶ But in the last days it shall come to pass, [that] the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
V.2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
V.3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
V.4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make [them] afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken [it].
V.5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

    --------------------------------------------------
Now noone will be able to say, “the Devil made me do it”, because during this 1000 years he will be locked up in hell, unable to deceive anyone on Earth..........
    Revelation 20:2-3
V.2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
V.3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

    --------------------------------------------------
What is interesting, is these people will be living in a wonderful world, because of the Lord’s righteous judgement, yet at the end of the 1000 years, when Satan is released for just a short time, he will deceive everyone who hasn’t trusted Christ and the vast majority of the Earth will come against the Lord at Jerusalem one last time, before God destroys them and the whole shebang.
    Revelation 20:7-9
V.7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
V.8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.
V.9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

    --------------------------------------------------
The point being, you can take a sinful human being and give him a perfect world with Jesus Himself visibly on this earth and even after a 1000 years of proving himself to be the wonderful Savior that He is, sinful man will still turn on Him, at that drop of a hat.

The world needs to be “born again”, not just to become a Baptist or a Calvinist etc.

Though I don't hold the same eschatalogical view as you, I agree with the sentence above (though if I was nit-picking, I would say that it is individual people who need to be born again).

That point has already been proven by God Himself to man at the creation. Adam and Eve was surrounded by plenty and had everything except one, they had an open, audible, face to face fellowship with his Creator, and yet he still believed another creature.
That point was again proven in David, who resorted to murder in his lust for a woman. The Lord told him all he needed to do was ask and the Lord could have granted what he wanted.
Israel had before their eyes the greatest miracles of the Old Testament, and generations later, turned to other gods.
I don't see why the Lord has to prove anything to anyone for a thousand years.

Nobody becomes born again by reason of anything other than the will of God for that individual to be born again. John 1:12-13.

You reference to John 1:, was interesting.......
    John 1:12-13
V.12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name:
V.13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

    --------------------------------------------------
“But as many as received him,”
(This is God’s call to humanity, to receive His free gift.)

“to them gave he power to become the sons of God,”
(Yet salvation is up God, not up to us.)

“[even] to them that believe on his name:”
(The faith God gives to the elect.)

    “Which were born,”
(Giving us new life in Christ.)

    “not of blood,”
(Not based upon our blood line.)

“nor of the will of the flesh,”
(Not based upon any of our good works.)

“nor of the will of man,”
(Not based upon our extra effort.) Romans 9:16

    “but of God.”
(Salvation, has always been “all of God”!)

i would have to disagree with your end times scenario, but yes. all must repent and be baptized. and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. just as Peter told the crowd at pentacost. Peace

Perhaps you made a typo because doing penance is a Roman Cathoic dogma. Biblical repentance is very different.

my apologies if you didnt like the translation i used. i will use the niv if you would like. or the kjv. makes little difference to me. lets try this again. 2 peter 3:9,( The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but EVERYONE to come to repentance.) but isnt repentance followed by penance? if you for example, stole something, and repented of that action. would you not wish to make it right by returning said property? penance should follow repentance. that my friend is biblical. otherwise we are just mouthing the words "im sorry" with nothing to back them up. kinda like james says. Faith without works is dead. repentance without penance would also be dead it would seem. hope this helps clarify. :type: p.s. not a typo, this is how one of the translations i use interpreted it.
