Every (Potential) Candidate has pluses and minuses...

    Palin is no different.

While there is a lot to like.

I do not think she has the political maturity to run for and survive being President.

(She has appeared at times as ditzy... Not quite totally together...)

I have had second thoughts about Veep...

Unfortunately, I can't think of anyone right not that makes me *want* to support them...

No thank you! If she gets the nomination we can pretty much welcome in another four years of Dims in the White House.

I like Sarah a lot. “On the issues,” I can’t really find a single issue where I disagree with her. If all that mattered was the issues and politics she would be great, but is she the one you want representing us when we are challenged by a foreign power? If it comes down to her and Putin over the table to avoid a war with Russia, is she the one you want? Can you see her vs China? How about North Korea or Iran?

Principles she has, positions she has, but what about leadership?

That being said she would be an improvement over our current president. At least IMHO.

Palin would be the best since Reagan.

Agh. You've got to be kidding.

I'm reminded of a line from "Ender's Game" by Orson Scott Card. The hero of the story is being challenged by a younger classmate, who thinks he should be a platoon leader. The hero asks him, "why should you be a platoon leader?" The younger classmate replies, "Because I'd know what to do with a platoon."

(here's the part that applies to Palin, and which has turned and kicked Obama in the teeth) The hero replies to the younger classmate, "knowing what to do with a platoon is easy; it's getting them to do it that's hard."

Given the incompetency of the four presidents since Reagan, she could easily be "the best since Reagan" but still be awful.

Palin would make a good choice for ambassador to any number of countries.

Your option may be a reality if we continue on our current course in America. Of course, the gun won't be to force your vote FOR Palin, it will be to force your vote AGAINST her or anyone else with her values.

I do not prefer Palin for a presidential candidate for any number of reasons, but among them are not: Her lack of leadership; her lack of direction; her doctrines; her plain old guts to do what so many others have run from...

She has cajones, and knows her position. Others do not realize that she knows, and that is the issue -- they would make the election a mockery simply to disavow one particular woman -- which is in fact my "main" reason for not wishing her elected.

I would expect absolute and total disaster and when everything really starts to come apart for her to resign and blame others.

Sort of like we're seeing in the current adminstration? We've seen the blaming, the total disaster, and we eagerly await the leaving... Whether during the actual administration or in the upcoming election, it cannot come too soon!
