    Talked to a Catholic recently who said that she didnt believe that Jesus was God. Is it possible to disbelieve that Jesus was God in the flesh and still say that you are Roman Catholic? She looked at me like an owl in a tree.

    I think it is possible to be a Catholic and believe almost anything as Catholicism is so diverse and inclusive.

    No. The fact that Jesus was God is a very important teaching of the Catholic church.
