Should be a good one. Dr. Craig is always abundantly prepared.

FYI, veritas.org has a lot of these kinds of debates (with Craig, Zacharias, Plantinga, etc) in video and audio format for free. Really good stuff happening with Veritas.

Anybody watching, talk to me. I would love to be there when Krauss was daring God to smite him now...I'd been very tempted to slam a book and see if he jumps. :tongue3:

I found it interesting that Mr. Krauss lost the debate so miserably that he was even offerig reasons as to why there could be evidence of God in one breath and denying it in the next. My guess is that his stance has been shaken.

To no surprise Krauss believes physical quantum mechanics must involve determinism but of course he never really addressed Craig’s belief of substance dualism in the form of the human soul and the ability of a brain to think. Too bad the debate was closing just at the best part IMHO. Dr. Craig is definitely one of my favorites!

I would point out that Craig must not be a Calvinist as he believes in free will according to his statements.

I only saw about the last minute of Krauss' opening argument but thought he looked very nervous at the end and was watching him nervously grabbing his water several times afterward. Will be anxous to see what the college jury votes.

No Craig is not Calvinist, he argues for Molinism.

Craig wouldn't fall into a reformed view. Several of his texts explain his theology alongside his apologetic method/presentations.

Free moral agency is a rather important apologetic position for many to take. For instance Alvin Plantinga has postulated the free will defense which is a magnificent reply to the evidential problem of evil.

It certainly is for me. I would have a very hard time logically arguing against Athiests attempting to show through the P.O.E. via Determinism that God is either the author of evil or non-existing without it.

Love it! [IMG] I've been working on some reasoning against the objectors here:
