According to ABC News services, Bin Laden was accorded a 45 minute funeral service that included translation of the service into Arabic.

Should we have provided this man this kind of accommodations considering the terror, death and destruction he released on humanity both here and abroad?

As a Christian, it seems like the thing to do, but, there are also opinions on the other side, and they are justified, too! So what do you think.

Take the poll, and leave your comments, too.

    Shalom,

    Pastor Paul :type:

I do not think Americans or Christians are obligated to bury him in a Muslim fashion. It may be a wise thing to do in that it did not cause harm to do so, and may have avoided retailiation.

So, I checked no and see my comments. I do think the US should have considered something that would provide the world proof of death beyond their word. A photo may not be needed to do so. Every culture has a method to confirm the identity and death of a person.

For the crimes Osama committed, the Lord has saw fit to appoint this as the day and manner of his death. Beyond death, what more can be done? Osama has paid with his life in this world. It is appointed unto to men to die once, then the judgment.

It's time for Americans to move on.

I voted yes but I won't affirm that he "deserved" it.

Like us he deserved far worse.

He was dead, so I don't care about his funeral... my only thot would be how would you like to be the guy who led the service for him... doubt you'd put that on your resume... except of course in afghanistan, pakistan, iran and iraq.

American tax dollars paid for this funeral, and Christian taxpayers paid for an American chaplain to do the Muslim service.

American tax money bought the bullets that killed him and supported the ship that took him out to sea. I don't see what your point is?

He would have been unceremoniously booted out the Chopper if I was doing it. Perhaps he was!

The only tax money uses would be the grenade Id tied to his body to make sure he would not be found. Im serious about that.

    I'll be more clear:

To those who would object, it's moot. It's been paid for. Time to move on.

    Good Point, Tom!

However, American tax dollars also paid for everything that went into finding him, and the weapon and bullets that ended his reign of terror!

Why should anyone care or object. There are far more important matters to be concerned with.

I find it interesting (and depressing) that no one has yet quoted any scripture on this topic. So, I will contribute some to the discussion:

For the record, I voted "Yes".
