Apparently, I don't know when, Little Debbie, the once Seventh Day Adventist, has become a 5 point Calvinist!

    I present you the proof........

...and I suppose you would say that the Max Bygraves song Tulips from Amsterdam is proof that calvinistic doctrine had its origin in the Dutch capital city. :)

My, more open minded, Arminian children say those TULIP cakes were awwwwful!

Being as set in my ways as I am, I couldn't bring bring myself to taste them. :D

My IFB church doesn't let me eat Little Debbie's. They are worldly and we are to avoid the appearance of evil.

    Scotland Daily Record:

Singer Moby on the inspiration for his new album: "I was what friends would call a garbagehead. . . .a Calvinist by day and a Libertine by night."

    Catchy lyric!

Reminiscent of Stevie Wonder's "Part Time Lover".

For our non-Cal friends, it's obvious that the TULIP cakes are a little hard to swallow.

Nah....they go down much easier when you dunk'em in the sincere "milk" of the gospel............

I have never had one of these, nor had I even heard of them. I guess I wasn't predestined to eat them??

    I guess I am:
    Totally depraved from having one?
Unconditionally left off from having one?
    Limited by their supply?
Irresistibly drawn to them, though I can't have 'em?
    Preserved from having their preservitives(sp?)?

I know those are lame, but oh well. Does anyone else have a cute idea to use for "TULIP"? Lets keep it "cute", and not offend our DoG Brethern.

You've never had them for a reason. They must choose you. You cannot choose them.

We go to the store. We come home. Never saw them at the store. They just appear in the bag when we get home. Kinda scary.

They are made by McKee Foods in Tennessee. Collegedale, I think. The family that owns the place (the mckee famblee???) are 7th Day Adventists. If memory serves, Little Debbies are kosher. I've toured the plant....once.....if you did, you would never eat Little Debbies again.

I mean, it is not like its gross, its just that the smell of all that sugary snack cakeness is SO intense, you would not want anymore Little Debbies. One of the employees told me that "this place is like an asylum, but it is run by the inmates."
