What a nice gift from my dear wife. Zondervan has a reduced size photostatic reprint of the 1611 printing of the KJV!

Now I can check out what the 'REAL' KJV1611 says without wading through a website! I am especially intrigued by the marginal notes and alternate translations they used.

For example I am studying and preaching in Romans 1 at the moment. In verse 5 the text has 'By whom we have received grace and Apostleship ||for obedience to the faith among all the nations for his Name.

    The marginal note reads
    || or, to the obedience of faith

I love the picture of 'obedience of faith' that the translating team included to remind of that obedience is truly a result of our faith.

I picked this up at Wal Mart about a month ago. You know it's gotta be the 400th Anniversary if Wal Mart is selling the AV 1611!

You'll probably need a magnifying glass if you're really wanting to dig into it, especially for prolonged reading. But it's a very inexpensive way to acquire a 1611, although it does omit the Apocrypha due to space considerations. But there are marginal references to apocryphal books, as it is a facsimilie of the original.
