Again, I am sorry that I offended everyone here. I was sharing my feelings. I believed it would be alright to do among other Christians. I was not making light of the Christian lifestyle at all. I was telling everyone what I do & how I live.

One might wonder what led you here to share that with the rest of us.

The op sounds like they are being facetious. Not sure the need to waste time and bandwidth on such a caricature of the "Christian life"

I have to say that your posts saddens me as a woman of God. God has used women so richly in His kingdom and you are a vessel that is silent and preventing God from using you to bless other believers in Christ. I cannot imagine not speaking to people at church or sharing my burdens or singing to the Lord in a joyful song. Wearing bland colors when God has so richly blessed us with vibrant color and wonderful sounds and wonderful blessings.

It must be a very sad life, I'd think. I know in the last few months, God has used me in so many ways and it's humbling and blessing at the same time to see how He's used me to speak to others. Some of the situations were counseling a mom who was struggling with her calling in life, a wife who was having a hard time with an unbelieving husband, my husband who is struggling in ministry, my daughter who had a most unbelievable health problem that even gave testimony to the doctors of God's faithfulness and a couple who had to make the most difficult decision and stand against their family to disconnect their son from life support. I KNOW God used me and grew me and refined me through this process and did the same to others through our connection. How would I ever want to miss that??

I really do hope it's what you're saying because if not, they are missing a most rich life. Even their "handle", Queen Esther did amazing things in the power of the Spirit!

Well QueenEsther, welcome to the BB.

I think you've made up for your not talking much in real life a little bit just now! I hope you take that in grace as I mean it that way. :)

If there is anyway we could help you let us know. I too am wondering why you've shared all you have with us. There are some wonderful women here on BB that would be of great encouragement to you.

    - Peace

QEP31 I seek my wife's opinion on decisions. We make them together. Now she will defer to me if we really disagree. But, I have found that when I don't listen to her and go with the "I'm the man of the house" decision that it is the wrong one. In one instance it turned out to be a very costly mistake. God does use her to speak to me from time to time.

You have a very legalistic and distorted view of the role of a woman and I feel sorry for you. May God give you freedom from the religious trap that you have gotten caught in.

That is my take on it also. But if qeenesther is serious, she's got some serious problems.

I apologize for posting here if all I did was offend. Was not my intention. I have come across others online who have the same views as I do. I see this lifestyle being played out in the churches we have attended. My life has been this way for a long time even before being born again just in smaller doses. My husband always had these views & I have decided on my own that it was wrong for me to no longer be who I used to be. How is this so wrong? I mean no disrespect. It just seems as though I am always being told my views & feelings are wrong. It also seems as though I have no where to go. Again I'm sorry for sharing.

I believe that I am paying for all my past rebelliousness. I believe that I now know my place-my role. My husband is the man. I am the woman.

You have no idea. I mean that honestly with no disrespect.
Harsh as my response may be it's how I feel. I am powerless over that fact.

I'm beginning to think you are serious, and its sad. In complete sincerity I hope you are not in an abusive relationship as much of what you posted (and since deleted) are traits of a controlling, abusive husband.

Please join the women's private forum and heed some godly counsel from the women here, which there are many!

In addition, as believers we don't have to "pay" for past rebellion...it was nailed to the cross with the One who paid it.

I don't know. I tend to think that sharing ones burdens would be sharing more personal things. I can only give a glimpse of what my beliefs are now but could never (in real life or online) share the rest of the details. Some can others can't. I can't.

Honey - God has a most amazing, rich, wonderful, blessed life for you!! Read the Scriptures and see how God speaks to women. See what a woman's true role is. I cannot imagine a life like you've mentioned. God does not have us "pay" for our past rebelliousness by being a doormat and silent. God has SO much more for you than that.

    Anytime.

I ask, is your life filled with joy QueenEstherP31? I ask sincerely.

Are you asking us for help here, to help you in your life, because I am sure many would be glad to.

Annsni, mcdirector, gina, they are good women to help you here. I recommend them, and there are others.

    - Peace

I am waiting to be approved.

I think that all the things that have happened in the past & the last few years are because I am not trying hard enough. I have heard that if you are being rebellious then God will send problems to you because you are rebellious. For example if you have an illness then it's because you have sin in your life.

I know that is what the bible says but I also don't feel this applies to me & my situation.

I'm sorry but that is TOTALLY wrong. What sin did Job have? How about Lazarus? Paul? Timothy?? I'd like you to read of a recent event in my family's life and see how God used a severe illness to bring about His glory:
