I have a hardback edition of the 1952 Pilgrim Edition of the KJV.

I also have the updated 2003 New Pilgrim Bible of that earlier edition.

The 2008 Rock of Age Study Bible has mainly the same KJV text as that found in the 2003 New Pilgrim Bible and mostly the same study notes.

The KJV edition in the later New Pilgrim Bible differs from the KJV in the 1952 Pilgrim Edition. The text of the KJV edition in the 1952 Pilgrim Edition is more like the text of the KJV in the old Scofield Reference Bible while the text of the KJV in the New Pilgrim Bible is more like the text in the later Scofield Study Bible.

 

According to a consistent application of KJV-only claims and reasoning, a number of them could be considered significant.

Likely most of them would not be that major or significant.

There was one KJV-only web site that identified some present KJV editions as supposedly being "counterfeit" for some very minor differences. Some of those differences that were claimed to make an edition of the KJV "counterfeit" was the printing of "to day" as one word "today" or "to-day" and the printing of "twoedged" as "two-edged" or as two words "two edged."

A consistent application of the assertions of that KJV-only web site would have made the 1611 edition "counterfeit" and the 1769 Oxford KJV edition "counterfeit."

Nice, I love finding neat bibles!! I have a few around the house too read from!! I want too find something from the late 1800's too early 1900's....Seen a few on E-bay but the cost it high! :godisgood:

 

The cost of KJV editions printed in the late 1800's to early 1900's should not be that expensive since they were commonly available. Some people may overestimate the value of older Bibles from that period when they try to sell them. Even KJV editions from the early 1800's are not that rare. Perhaps a first edition of other translations printed in the late 1800's to early 1900's may be more rare and considered of higher value.
