    Is she a traitor?

Why would you ask this question?

Has she betrayed another's trust or been false to an obligation or duty? Who or what exactly is she obligated too? What are her duties?

Has she been treacherous? Matter of opinion.

Has she tried to overthrow the government of the state to which she owes allegiance? Not that I've heard of.

My quess is it all depends on who or what one thinks she owes her allegiance too.

Those who believe her first allegiance is to the government or state will give a different answer than those who believe her first allegiance is to the constitution of the United States.

To which of these do you believe she owes her allegiance?
This is misleading. She was quoting MLK. And he was right! Did not the government of the United States use assassinations during a violent fake terrorist campaign to overthrow the rightful government of Iran in 1953 on behalf of American and British oil interests? Has it not used the same tactics against other countries that didn't toe the corporate line for decades? (see United Fruit Company) Is this what she owes her allegiance to? How about you, is this what you owe allegiance too?

Despite what Washington and the corporation's news agencies say telling the truth is not treasonous. Revolutionary in this "time of universal deceit" for certain sure but not treasonous.

This racist jihadist (Cynthis McKinney) was so radical, she was turned out by an overwhelmingly liberal district. I sincerely believe she has lost her marbles. Don't get me wrong--she is evil to the core....but I think she's moved to the area code of "crazy" now, as well.

Were she to hold office again--I have no doubt she would engage in treasonous behavior.

Hopefully, no district in this country has enough stupid people (or jihadists) to elect her.

Unfortunately, if she were elected, and she did engage in treasonous acts--that crime is no longer prosecuted, and there is no longer enforcement of its penalties.

I think in the technical sense yes she is a traitor
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treason . However so is just about anyone who seeks to bring about change on a radical level. For instance Martin Luther, William Tyndale, and many others could be considered traitors technically but we call them reformers. If you think about it we are a nation that was conceived by traitors. So yes in technically she is a traitor. It just depends on ones perspective.

    In Legalese...

....she was aiding and abetting the enemy while our soldiers were being killed, injured, and ill treated as POWs.

That makes her at least a "traitor!" :tear:

Cynthia Mckinney hasn't done that. Our good friend RD2 has her confused with Jane Fonda. Mckinney's only crime is boldly speaking the truth. Of course to those who believe we Americans owe some Godly ordained allegiance to the criminals in our tyrannical government she would be a traitor.

To these people I say. You are more of a traitor to your country than she. While she defends the U.S. constitution and the rule of law you defend the real traitors who have placed our soldiers in harms way for the global profits and control of the banksters and corporations. You folks might just as well worship at the feet of Goldman Sachs and British Petroleum. They are your Caesar after all.

Red Blush Completely Covers Every Inch of my Face...

I was jumping ahead on this post, thinking it had to do with Fonda! So you can imagine my total embarrassment to discover I was on the wrong post/thread. :tongue3:

Forgive me for not reading the entirety of the post.

Love you all.....and appreciate your patience and forgiveness in this huge "Senior Moment!" Even the best, and the mediocre make mistakes.

However, I'll comment on this persons interview and say that she is crossing the line when it comes to patriotism. I'm glad she is no long an active civil servant.

Still sweating bullets, and overcome with blush!

I laughed out loud at Poncho's post.

    McKinney...
    • Has struck a capitol police officer before, when being asked for ID to enter a restricted area.
    • Used jihadist funds to finance her re-election campaign.
    • Came from an anti-semitic family (her dad blamed one of his losses on "those Jews"), and she refused to denounce his policies or statements as she grew up.
    • Appeared on Libyan state TV recently to denounce the US and offer support for Mu-Ammar Qaddafi (Khadafi, Qadafy, or consult the book, "Week-By-Week Spellings for Islamic Tinhorn Dictators").
    • Teamed up with a convicted cop killer to hold hearings and ask Congress to investigate the killing of gangster rapper Tupak Shakur.
    • Allowed racial slurs to be posted don her re-election campaign website: The site was moderated, and some statements were brought down, quickly. Some racist statements were allowed to stay up--but only those who denounced cerain ethnicities.
There's more, but I think the point is abundantly clear...
