Wikipedia give his death date as today, 27 July 2011. I am sorry to read of his death. I read a number of his books years ago.

Well he has certainly gone on to receive his reward for his life of service.

What a leader we have lot. I have always appreciated Rev Stott's ministry.

A huge loss to the evangelical Church of England, and the evangelical community. People drive for miles to attend All Souls Church; a beacon for Christ.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Stott Was A Modern-day Charles Simeon

He will be missed for his contributions to Evangelicalism. I automatically place him and J.I.Packer together. But I have leaned toward the more biblically conservative latter. Yet now,in the Lord's presence -- his theology is perfect.

A great soldier of Christ. At a time when so much of the Anglican Communion is rightly in disrepute in the First World, he was a true beacon of light for us.
