It would be dangerous for a mob to do this in Texas. There's a strong possibility some of them would be shot by CHL holders.

I've been observing black on white and white on black group violence my entire life. I would expect more such violence with an economic downturn. I find it hard to believe it would have anything to do with the race of any particular politicians.

Do you suppose there is more white on black mob violence when we have a white president?

What does this have to do with Obama? Are you saying that black on white violence never happened before Obama was elected?

This is more the fault of people like Al Sharpton, & Jessie Jackson. After being told all your problems are whitey's fault, all your life, eventually you want revenge. Although Eric Holder did refuse to prosecute a clear case of voter intimidation, and cited race, as a reason.

Nope, It did increase after he was elected, and will continue to increase. If we put him put of office; it could get worse.

I'm not surprised. There was in fact less. It has increased since we elected a black President.

Very true. Those guys are hustlers of the worse kind. Not to mention Sharpton is a Anti-Semite.

So you have nothing to back up your statements then? Just as I thought. Pitiful.

I take the "Parting Shot" to mean Fundypat has none.

Having said that, Milwaukee has seen a lot of the kind of thing that happened at the state fair this year. Is it Obama's fault? The notion is a major stretch.

    "On the opening NIGHT" . . . ." "Worst case of mass attempt suicide . . . ."

Christian family people should know better than to put themselves into harm's way. Bible warns that evil occurs at night.

While I am a Fundamental Conservative, I see no reason to promote further division in our nation by posting such offensive images toward either liberal or conservative philosophies.:wavey:

At first blush, nothing at all.

In retrospect, we have a racist black president whose justice department has declared blacks will not be prosecuted for violating the civil rights of a non minority.

In the minds of some, that might be considered a license to commit mob violence against whites as well.

Some blacks may have felt empowered when Pres. Obama was elected. Of those blacks, some would be racist and/or violent, or squeeze their toothpaste from the wrong end. Of those that are racist and violent, the feelings of empowerment may lead to acting out more than they dared previously. So...we may have more racist violence against non-blacks post election.

But holding the president personally responsible is, imo, no different than holding a white president responsible for increased activity of the KKk.

Very well stated Chessic, but I am wondering what the Korean Community did to provoke vandalism after the Rodney King trials. Just saying, I agree with you, more often than not it is the result of a crowd mentality, I would suspect. There is a little prejudice in each of us I believe, though many strive to overcome that, it is part of our human nature, or so is my opinion.

    I enjoyed reading your post:thumbs:

The term racism has been turned into a joke, because it it only applies to white racism directed toward other ethnic groups. Whenever a negro is accosted by whites in a predominately white neighborhood, it makes national news. However; when the opposite happens, the prevailing attitude seems to be " Those folks had no business being in that neighborhood anyway."

Truth be told, I did see by following links from the OP link that there was an earlier demonstration against the governor at the fair. The people in that demonstration appeared to be white, but from one person I have spoken to who lives in Wisconsin (plus stuff on the internet), a lot of people really don’t like him. Of course, this is where the whole labor showdown occurred, you may recall. So I could see it being connected somehow.

It bears a resemblance to what happened in Iowa, and as far as all the information that came out, the claims of shouted racial motivations came from the Aryan Nation. Likewise, we see these claims by individuals, and the site suggesting this was the result of a black president.
As for people being told all their problems are someone else's fault, and then lashing back at them; this can go both ways, and clearly, blame has been much louder in the other direction, with "welfare" still blamed for much of the economy's troubles (and now, unions), and much moreso than anything said or inspired by Sharpton and Jackson, who have largely fallen to the sidelines.

(Wow; haven't seen Frogman in a while!)
