Purpose of the fence

    During the R debate, Ron Paul said we should be careful about putting up a fence between us and Mexico. Because it could be used to keep Americans in (think Berlin Wall)

    He also said that he is against national ID cards.

    My understanding is that a national ID would be used to confirm that an individual is in this country legally.

    In New York State if you are not a legal resident, your license will state the date your visa expires (even if your license expires after your visa)

    I wonder what the ratio of Mexican illegals to American illegals is.

    This time Ron Paul is correct. Don't you all want me to believe that FEMA is building gulags for detaining Christians?

    Just another wacky idea from Ron Paul. He claimed that in a crisis people would want to flee the country with their capital (read gold) and the U.S. would prevent them from leaving. How credible is this scenario? 0.1% probability, IMO.
