    Granting illegal aliens our tax dollars for state funded education.
    Signing away American farmland to push the TTC / NAFTA Superhighway.
    Attending the Bilderberg meetings for pushing the one world government agenda
    Signing the DREAM ACT so illegal alien invaders can get rewarded for breaking our laws.
    Approving Hillary care and sending love letters to her about how he loves it.
    Leaving the Democratic Party because Texas is more a Republican State....

    No I don't hate Governor Perry.I am jusat posting the truth about him In fact I may end up voting for him. That is if he is the lessor of two evils. I did that with president Bush. He too was a Texas Governor who did nothing for Texas and while in the white house did about the same for the nation, nothing. Nothing that is but start the stripping away of our freedoms, rights and liberties in the name of safety. Bring about an economic downfall, and a few other things.

    As who I like. At this point none of them. They all have some serious problems, but I know the most about Governor Perry because I live in Texas.

    You are basically correct about Perry. He is a typical power-hungry politician, and also anti-Constitutional. He is part of the established party like Mitch McConnell, and his conservative values are cosmetic. Against the standard of the Consitution, he is very similiar to Obama. He has no desire to serve the American people, but himself to free money and power. Like Romney, there is no way I would vote for him.

    Yes you are correct. It is a sad picture as to what we are faced with. There is a great need to get the truth about all the candidates out there when possible. I am afraid we are left with who is the lessor of evil as they all have some serious baggage. The problem with Rick Perry is he is doning the best in hiding the truth about himself.

    It is amazing how far down in character and ability to lead the Presidential candidates have come. If you take 1960, Nixon vs Kennedy, both were basically qualified for the office despite their faults. Fast forward to 2008, and you have two left wing candidates. If it were physically possible for John Kennedy to debate McCain, Kennedy would have been the conservative candidate. How bad can one nation get. We have 300 million fairly bright people, and the two finalists are Obama and Romney/Perry? Why do we do this to ourselves? Maybe it is what we deserve.

    I have always said it is better to be against something/someone than for something/someone. Anyone can tear people down, few can advance a good argument/person.

    I'm not to sure if we have 300 million fairly bright people.

    Americans are more interested in voting for American Idol contestants, upset because daytime soaps are being canceled and watching endless reruns of Gilligan's Isle.

    Back in 2008, I asked my taxi riders (mainly Medicaid) why they were voting for Obama. Virtually 100% said he is for change. I asked them what change - they had no ideal.

    When I ran for State Assembly back in 2004, very few people came out to candidates nights.

    People tend to vote only party line. I found that to be very true when I ran for City council in 2007. Two seats were up for election. In addition to the two Democrats running, the sole Republican candidate was also on the Conservative Party line. I was only on the Conservative Line (I didn't file till the last minute and was unable to get the "R" line) A few "R" voted for me, but most did not because I was not listed on the Republican line.

    Very few people are aware of most issues. When is the last time you attended a village, town, county or City council meeting? Do you even know the name of your Representatives? Have you ever written a letter to an elected official?


    As long as we pay our bills and we are generally happy, we have no desire to learn about government. I believe that Christians have a responsibility to be involved. It is so easy to complain about our dislikes, but until we get involved....

    Currently the town clerk of Ledyeard (Upstate New York) refuses to sign a marriage license for homosexual couples. A "couple" are planning to take her to court as she is not following the law. Here is the clincher - she is up for re-election in November. I trust every Bible-believing Christian votes this November to keep her in office. Rose Marie Belforti is standing up for what is right. I was upset, when earlier in the year when 2 or 3 other clerks resigned over the new immoral law.

    Will you send a letter of support to Rose Marie and let her know that you appreciate her standing up for Biblical principals.


    And what if she determined that she believed that divorced people should not be re-married - I would support her, in the same way she has handled the homosexual issue - she requested (and was approved by the town) for the deputy clerk to be authorized to sign said license. She has made provisions for the law to be legally applied.
