It feels good to win some of these sometimes.

Interesting find. Do you think the class is glad to have him back or not?

There appears to be no reason to think otherwise.

    Do you have doubts?

Maybe I totally missed Don's point. He seemed to be saying that this was possibly more than a simple free speech issue. I got the impression that this student might have been badgering some others in the class. That's why I asked the question I did. If I totally missed what Don was saying, I'm sorry.

What you missed was reading the article. "Franks" is the teacher and other students have been offended by his homosexual agenda.

Do you all enjoy having Mormons and JWs coming to your house and telling you that only they are "real Christians?"

Don't many of you enjoy telling other people in this board that they are going to Hell, not real Christians, are stupid and liars? How many times do you think God wants you to tell another board member that he is a stupid liar?

I would not want this kid in my class. Nothing worse than having any kind of fanatic in your class or work place.

A kid makes one statement, one time, and you classify him as a "fanatic"?

What's so fanatical about simply and quietly stating your Biblically informed beliefs on homo,...?

Beats me; ask billwald. He's the one that called the kid a fanatic.

So, Bill, your thoughts? Mind you, I'm assuming the student wasn't otherwise being disruptive. Are you saying stating the Biblical POV on the issue is fanatical? I am also assuming he was asked a question and he gave his answer. It just didn't agree with the teachers.

How many times does the kid need to make his point to the same people?

The kid is like some people on this list who MUST have the last word on every topic. Very annoying when two of you get going and neither can stop. I don't this is what Jesus had in mind.

Me, I know that I am not going to change any of your minds. There is no purpose for restating the same argument over and over in different ways. I rattle your cage once and that is enough for me, yet I am criticized for not responding and responding and responding.

Yet you give the teacher a free pass. You criticize the person standing up for morals and God's teaching and give the one pushing a homosexual agenda a free pass.

Why don't you ask "How many times does the teach need to make comments and push the homosexual agenda to the same people (and a captive audience at that!"?
