It is an anti-American Soros funded "movement" that is a 1960's redux. There is violence, open sex and drug use, and no one single reason for it except they hate capitalism.

Many use apple computers, iphones, and drink starbuck's coffee while protesting corporate America.

Quite a few "intellectuals" are taking part, read that liberals. here in Salem a large part come from a liberal law university.

They say they operate on consensus, yet in Portland the majority wanted to remove themselves from a street they were blocking, yet a small group refused to comply with the group.

They call them the 99% yet I doubt they are even 1% of the nations population.

They act like a cult at times, mindlessly repeating what their leader says. This was so everyone could hear in a city where they couldn't use pa systems, yet in cities where pa was okay they still do it.

Many normal people seem to be sucked into it as well. Seems most anyone with a complaint about anything can be a part.

Tear down the system and I guess replace it with them.

They can't decide whether to unblock a street, how will they handle an invasion by China?

    Here ya go Blackbird.

    The Land Destroyer #OccupyWallStreet Guide

    Introduction

As Americans begin pouring into the streets with dissatisfaction, there seems to be some confusion as to who the source of their problem is. That 'who' is a corporate-financier oligarchy that has been destroying America for nearly a century and until now, has done a good job of parasitically feeding from America in the shadows. They are not the "1%."

They are the 1% of the 1%. They are billionaire banksters like George Soros, James Dimon, Lloyd Blankfein, the Rothschilds, the Federal Reserve and the directors and chairmen of many of the largest corporations on earth including big oil, the military industrial complex, big pharma, big agri, and the corporate media who combine their resources and collective agenda in self-contrived institutions, think-tanks, and working groups to dominate humanity. Some of these include the Brookings Institution, the International Crisis Group, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Foreign Policy Initiative, and the Foundation for Defense of Democracies.

Below you will see a growing list of these names, companies, corporations, institutions, their agendas and how they interrelate. One thing that should be abundantly clear as one reaches the bottom, is that most of these names are reoccurring and the solution is self-evident. Many of these names are corporations, banks, and institutions we pay into on a daily basis. The solution of course, should we conclude they are indeed the problem, is to no longer pay into them with our time, money, energy, and attention.

All the leftie vs rightie stuff we all see and hear and love to engage in so much is nothing but a distraction. Pay it no mind Blackbird it's just the elite trying to play divide and conquer on us again. Look beyond it's circus and theater and focus on the real culprits instead. Maybe it'll make more sense then.

Well, they may have the support of the 53 % - the 53% who have zero tax liability on Apr 15. And a good many of them get back more than what was withheld.

Many are complaining that they owe so much to the banks for student loans. Shouldn't they be complaining to the liberal schools for such high tuition and fees?

There are at least 3 sides to every story.....

One of the hippie type ladies interviewed has the answer to it all. She said that to bring down the banks, just burn all your money. We don't need money - if somebodies house needs painting we can all get together and paint it.

She didn't explain where the paint, brushes etc. would come from, maybe the magic multi-colored paint fairy.

    Typical deflection.
Even though many of those people might truly think government control or redistribution is the solution; he still shouldn't dismiss the whole cause as "trying to get something from us" (notice, "us", where O'Reilly identifies himself as part of the group people are trying to "get something" from. "Us" can't mean everyone, for the protesters are not protesting everyone; only the "1%", remember!

He then parrots the typical Social Darwinistic message of "survival of the fittest", that it's just "hard work", even if one has an advantage; and that it's "unfair", but nevertheless benefits more people. But the people they are complaining about are draining the economy, not benefitting it. The Tea Party complains about this same "unfairness" of others getting something they think was rightfully theirs, but simply blames it on someone different (like blaming the president for the bailouts, and that the poor and the unions are the ones benefitting from it all).

But we're not even talking about just a simple "unfairness", nor gain by simple honest hard work.
Look at the object of their complaints! It focuses mostly on the bailouts and other forms of "corporate welfare", with the banks often being mixed up in (or at least influencing) government.
Is having to be bailed out "hard work" and "doing well in your job"? Isn't this what they criticize the poorer people they call "nonworking" and "lazy" for? Why is it OK if you have some stature in society?
So the money is already being "redistributed"; they just see an upward flow as "natural", and then scream about a [largely exaggerated] downward flow, to keep everyone distracted.
Is this guy being paid by Wall St. or what?

Capitalism isn't the problem corporatism and unaccountability is.

It seems to many people that they are one in the same, and that they need no accountability. (They've "earned" the right to be accountable only to themselves).

They've assumed that right or more accurately usurped it from the people of the United States using a fraudulent fiat money system . . . along with most of our national wealth, security and freedoms.
