Science and the Resurrection

Science equals general revelation. Thus, it lacks greatly.

The more Biblical question should be, "What does the Resurrection teach us about science?"

 

If it is a miracle, then not much.

 

Belief in it because Bible states it happened, and has great historical proofs, but science? not so much!

 

I think many scientists (naturalists) would simply dismiss any claims of the resurrection as myth, fraud or fanciful thinking. However, there are also multitudes of scientists who despite their "hard science" education and training give full credence to this miracle of the scripture.

 

Its not able to be verified by scientists, so HAVE to rely upon the trustworthiness of the Bible, along with historical facts!

I don't know that it says anything about the resurrection of Christ. However, it does have theories about immortality and resurrection in general.

It says that in the very far, far future human intelligent life will have taken over the entire universe at which point the computational power of mankind approaches infinity. Using this extreme computational power coupled with the knowledge of and the manipulation of multi-verses, humanity will be able to recreate any discrete moment in time, or any sequence in time, in fact will be able to recreate history and thus will be able to resurrect humans from the dead.

At least that is what I got out of reading The Physics of Immortality by Frank Tipler about 15 years ago. I think.
