A subject near and dear to my heart!
The King James Commentary Bible Large Print Edition, comes in hardback and Bonded Leather. Thomas Nelson is the Publisher. It is actually Large Print, not pseudo-Large Print as in Thompson and Scofield.

There are other large print Study Bibles, but they weigh the proverbial ton: the Zondervan KJVSB, NIVSB; the ESVSB, and so forth. BTW, that Large Print ESVSB is a monster; just huge!

Sadly I have one close to my study area that I use quite often.

My feelings regarding a "larger print high quality study bible".

    1. Large print - needed for those of us with poorer eyesight; means a larger bible.

    2. High quality - a status symbol, generally means expensive, leather, sewn bindings. I like to change bibles every few years and don't use a single bible too long. I like nice hardback bibles.

    3. Study bible - again, this means a heavy bible, it signals to me that a newer Christian uses this bible.

Generally you don't see to many of these is because a large print study bible would be too hard to handle and prone to fall apart due to the weight of the book.
You'd need a multivolume bible - and if you're going there why not just use a bible and a speciality commentary.

I have a Large Print NIV Study Bible that was given to me as a gift years ago. Love the size of the print, but not the size of the Bible.

Mine is an old out of print NKJV Believer's Study Bible by Thomas Nelson. Criswell was the main contributer. It was originally Bonded Leather but after 16 years of faithful service and lots of black duct tape I had it rebound at Leonard's in PigSkin.

I am looking for something high quality, smythe sewn, black letter and premium leather and lighter weight now for every day carry. NKJV is hard to find with those specs.

I guess I haven't been able to handle one of the personal size ones yet. All the ones in stores around me are as big and heavy as what I have.
