ANY Ever hear Of Either the Emphasized or Bullinger bibles?

    The Emphasized Bible was an English translation made around 1897 by Joseph Bryant Rotherham.

    Bullinger's Bible likely refers to a study bible edition of the KJV called The Companion Bible that was edited by E. W. Bullinger.

    I have heard that Bullinger's notes are a little weird, for lack of a better word. Seems like he has some sort of strange doctrine about Adam. You might want to Google this one.

    I have not noticed any weird notes in Bullinger's The Companion Bible. Perhaps you were thinking about Dake's Annotated Reference Bible since it is the study bible known for a few unusual or strange notes.

    Someone informed me that Bullinger does have a few peculiar views delineated in his Companion Bible, mostly in the appendices.

    Example: he claims 5 people crucified on Calvary instead of 3, presuming two "thieves" as well as two "malefactors" were present fpr the occasion.

    Think that most of his peculiar doctrines were arise from his holding to exterme Hyper form of Dispensalism, as he taught that we in the gentile Church pretty much ONLY had to use pauline letters for our theology!
