E-Sword is Updated

    If you have e-sword 9, you can update to the newest version with some new features without losing any notes, or any modules. If you're still using version 8 you will lose all of your modules &c.

    I take it you are using e-sword.

    Go to www.biblesupport.com. If you are not a member, you'll need to join. As a member, you can ask that question, as they have a chat feature now that is live on the bottom right corner.

    Josh Bond would be the one to ask directly in the chat.

    have been ever since version 8, current one running is I think 9.6!

    use it more than my Logos and Gramcord!

    e-sword has fixed some bugs in its newest version and it is ready for download (v. 10.0.4).

    Keep in mind if you have version 8 and older, you'll lose all of your topic notes, modules &c. However, the newest version is so much faster at installing modules, it doesn't take long to recover the modules you've lost.

    The final (newest version) of e-sword, version 10.0.05 will be released 11/11/11 (tomorrow).

    This will replace any 10.x version that you are using, and fix a few bugs.

    E-Sword has been my go to program for several years now. I usually only open my Bible in church because E-Sword is so much easier.

    Hey preacher, don't you find it odd that you and I use the same materials for learning, but yet our theology is so different?

    Not a bad thing, just odd I think.

    I have 10.0.0.4. Don't believe anyone can update today. They are on strike today.

    John Trapp commentary now updated and now includes OT & NT in one module, and like always everything is free.

    There are many other free commentaries, dictionaries, sermons &c.

    Also, there are links to texts that go to the appropriate sermon via sermonlink and you can listen to these online. This works in the newest e-sword version 10.0.5. Be advised if you upgrade to version 10.0.5 from anything below a 9x version you will lose all of your notes and modules.

    E-sword has a bug fix update. This is version 10.0.7 and is the bug fix for version 10.0.5.

    If you have a version older than a version 9x, do not download a 10 version unless you are prepared to lose all of your commentaries, notes and other modules, as you will lose them.

    If you do have version 8, I'd suggest upgrading. The modules download much faster than before, and it won't take you that long to recover, plus there are other benefits, more modules &c for the newest version.
