    I'm not accusing him of drinking or taking drugs, but he is acting odd in my opinion. This just may be his Howard Dean moment.

    Another possibility is that he's got some political advisers telling him he needs to look a bit more lively at these appearances. In some of the debates it looked as if he was about to fall asleep.

    This could be, but regardless of the cause, I don't see this as helping Perry at all.
