Kingdom Theology/New Kingdom Theology - What is it and should one be concerned about it being introduced into their church?

IF you mean the theology of Bishop paulk known as Kingdom now...

heresay, as they believe and teach that the Church is ALL of the Kingdom upon earth right now, that we can and should expect miracles/healings/Apostles/prophets today, as God main plan in Church will be to take over this earths systems, being God over all, than Christ can return...

part word of faith/propserity/part post Mil, all pretty much "no good!"

    Thanks for the information.

I was asking on behalf of a friend. His church seems to be heading in that direction. Seems really dodgy to me :(

basically, started under "manifast sons of God" movement, as they taught that Christians right before jesus return will have Apostolic power to heal/do miracles. in order to set up kingdom on earth before jesus returns!

Some even took it to believe we would receive glorified bodies right here and now!

I am a christian firstly, and a reluctant anglican. The church I go to has a strong Bible based history, and people travel miles to attend

I think it is sad that such heretical beliefs and teaching are infiltrating our churches - but there again I am not surprised as there are so many Christians who are not reading their Bibles!

I did a quick search on Google, and found this site: It includes the following paragraph:
The basic teaching of Kingdom Theology is that the Kingdom of God is now. You may sometimes hear this teaching called "Kingdom Now" or "Dominion Theology" as well. Kingdom Now followers also believe that the salvation of Christ also includes total and complete healing from all infirmities, and the return of man's rule and reign on the earth now as was in the days of Adam and Eve before the fall. Many actually believe that the death and resurrection of Christ actually restored the earth to its prefall state and Christians now simply need to rule and reign to see that effect.
I don't think I need comment on it - just to say I hope the information is useful.

Think they took marty Llyod Jones/GE ladd views on Kingdom being here partially, and mixed up with their charasmatic fruity juice to make the Kingdom Now drink!

Definitly another version/type of the Jim Jones "kool aid!"
