This does not surprise me. Mass media has far too much power and influence and far too little integrity.

That TOTALLY explains why the police were able to turn around and walk the opposite way and leave without a problem. I was wondering why they couldn't just walk around or go the other way before. This is enlightening.

    Thanks!

    Thanks Gina, for the Post!

This certainly helps to clear up some things. As a person who has spent more than half of their career working along side of law enforcement folks, I find it hard to accept that they are out there doing harm to the very people they took an oath to protect and serve.

Sure, there are some rotten apples in every bushel, but, for the most part, cops are people with a job to do, and they are not there to be above the law, and over citizens.

These students were as much a victim as the police, as I am quite sure that the anarchists mixed amongst the crowd had a lot to do in stirring up the heated emotion of the moment.

These occupy folks have had long enough to make a point, and the time to move on has come. If they choose to disobey law enforcement officals, then they are responsible for what comes there way. :tear:

Let's see....the student in question was a plant from the military industrial complex and this is more evidence that we and this country are doomed to fall with no hope of recovery.

I think that should cover it.

[SIZE=+0][SIZE=+0]So you believe the police sprayed them because they could not get away, correct? I mean you really think the police were trying to get away (leave)? If you look at the videos very carefully, framing them, you will see all they had to do was walk around them IF they were wanting to leave or just arrest some in the middle and move on as it was a peaceful demonstration and no one was resisting. Also they could have just went back the way they came if you look carefully as they are not closed in like in a coral. The pepper spray was not called for any more then the pulling of hair or excessive force that was used after the pepper spraying.

The two officers should be fired along with chief and every other officer that was present should receive a written reprimand in their file with a 30 day loss of pay because they did not step in and stop the use of unnecessary.

Then stop thinking and read this.
The facts are they(the police) were ordered not to arrest anyone and to leave them alone and they did not. They were only to be there to take down tents, but they the police, decided they wanted a little sport at the expense of the peaceful students and were led by an ex-military person.
    Read this;
CA Chancellor "My instructions were for no arrests and no police force," she said. "I explicitly directed the chief of police that violence should be avoided at all costs."

First that is an entirely different issue which does not speak to the necessity of what they did.

And your hateful attitude toward anyone ex-military is both noted and deplorable.

I am not against the military. I am however against injustice and the stripping away of our constitutional rights. I am against the brutality that the military breads into many of its personnel and for them to then join civilian police forces and brutalize citizens who are not breaking the law and especially if the police have been ordered not to use any force.

Again this is what should happen.
The two officers should be fired along with chief and every other officer that was present should receive a written reprimand in their file with a 30 day loss of pay because they did not step in and stop the use of unnecessary and uncalled for force.

Those with the deplorable attitude are those who are trying to defend these criminals in uniform showing an anti American and anti-constitutional mind-set.

That is fine if you want to believe that. None the less this issue is just wrong and those officers who sprayed these people are criminals.

Let's see: the student admits that the campus police were trying to leave; we can read into that that the campus police were not trying to pepper spray them at that time. The student then says that they linked arms and kept them from leaving. I believe that in the english language, that equates to "corraling." At that point, the campus police escalated their tactics, to include the pepper spray.

In other words, the students were looking to initiate a confrontation.

Let's look at the other point: The campus chancellor says that she gave orders to the campus police chief to not use any force. Do we have a statement from the campus police chief acknowledging this "fact"? Or stating something different? How do we know for sure that exact order was relayed from the campus police chief to the campus police on the scene? How do we know the campus chancellor isn't saying this now to cover her own backside?

I'm on my way out the door, or I'd provide some statistics on the number of military people who are trained in human resources, medical, and other services career fields compared to the number of military personnel who are straight Army infantry, or other service equivalent. Why, you ask? Because someone made the statement that the military breeds (corrected spelling) into "many" of its personnel, who then join the civilian police force and brutalize citizens--an unsubstantiated claim, I might remind everyone.

Yes you are. You work to place them in a bad light whenever you get the chance. While I have never seen you post anything from sites like infowars you certainly bear their terrible attitude. Your claim here and some of your previous posts do not line up.

It is an established fact that you have displayed hatred and slander against those previously in the military.
