RE:Section 1233 of the "Healthcare" Bill:

ObamaCare is a Eugenics Program Brandon Turbeville

While we may not know the "eugenics" wording of the current version of the bill, this shows the agenda derived from the administration's view of the elderly.

90% of all Medicare money is spent on the last 2 years of people's lives. My Old Man died from cancer and I think the doctors continued to cut on him because the money was there.

How come Christians like my Dad who pester people for years about "being ready to meet Jesus" change their mind when told they should start packing for the trip? If you "real" Christians would be more anxious to leave this sinful life and go to then Medicare might be in good shape.

Me, I don't know what I would do if told I had internal cancer. I think i would go to Baskins & Robbins and eat myself to death.

Euthanasia is the ulitimate end of Eugenics.

It is already happening in America : e.g. Abortion.

Euthanasia for the elderly (or anyone who "needs" it) is now legal in two states:

Washington where it is called "Death with Dignity" and
Oregon where at least they are honest and call it "Assisted Suicide".

Much of the underlying philosophy of the ObamaCare Bill is the brainchild of Ezekiel Emanuel (brother of Rahm Emanuel):

I have read the entire piece and it is IMO and without a doubt pro-eugenics, pro-euthanasia.

Cold and logical his philosphy is - why waste time and money to save the lives of those who will continue to drain the national resource after recuperation?

He also targets children in his crosshairs. They should be considered an investment risk of the time and materials of a 12-16 year education unless they have at least a good chance of health and potential benefit to society in later life.

He neglects to mention that the majority of the elderly individuals in reference have contributed richly to the fortune and treasure of our society (apart from the idea of compassion for those in need).

    RE:billwald note:
    Yes Bill, I understand.
Even murder and suicide can be justified...

    Brave New World?

Bill I agree with you that a believer should have excitement about the near expectation of standing in the presence of the Lord. However, and I say sadly, many who claim to be His are not, or do not have the assurance they are going to make it to heaven so they seek to push back what should be the greatest time of their life, leaving this body to be with the Lord.
The Baskins & Robbins thing will work if we are ready to meet the Master.

Still, saint or sinner, nothing justifies murder or suicide.

This practice is now, and has always, been in existence. Do you think that the insurance companies will spend any amount on any procedure to keep a dying man alive? If so, I believe you are sadly mistaken.

Murder, agree. Suicide, disagree. If I came down with ALS I would consider suicide over slowly choking to death.

Before dialysis was common I saw a teenager dying from kidney failure, a long, ugly process.
