On Monday (Dec 5) on the Ed Show, he asked viewers to vote in a poll. The question was
"Is Donald Trump making a mockery of what used to be a national party?"

    The resuts were:

Those viewing the show ........those voting on the website

    Yes 98% ...............................................95%
    No... 2%.................................................5%

What are your thoughts about the results

    link for the info

    Ed Schultz??

You mean one of GQ Magazine's "25 Least Influential People Alive"?

" …Then there pundits like Ed Schultz. Do you watch “The Ed Show” on MSNBC? Of course you don’t. No one does. The only reason people watch “The Ed Show” is they’re working out in a hotel gym and they can’t find a staff member to change the channel to ESPN."

SPeaking of debates (oh, and I agree with the sentiment about Ed Shultz above -- he is nothing more than a big bag of hot air no matter which side one takes!) I often wonder why Republican presidential nominees submit to debate leaders coming from the most liberal of media sources, while Democrat presidential nominees get softball questions from the exact same source.

Perhaps we should host more debates like the one with Trump moderating so that the REPUBLICAN SIDE can have a clear chance to express their OWN ideology instead of always RESPONDING to a hostile moderator who wants nothing more than to make ALL of the potenital candidates look foolish before the American public.

Why is this debate a farce? Do you know the format?

    Honestly, I want to know.

Schultz is an extreme liberal talk show host on both radio and MSNBC.

According to Talkers Magazine (trade mag for talk radio) lists Schultz as the 10th most popular host ( w/ about 3 million listeners - compared to 20 million for Rush)

From this link: That brings us to Schultz's program: two years ago, when liberal talk radio had dozens more affiliates than it does today, Big Eddie didn't even make the list. Now, after a steady stream of station losses, we're to believe he has 3.25 million listeners and ranks seventh overall? In 2006, they ranked him 10th and reported an audience of over 2 million.

So where did liberal grow over the past year? At its remaining stations, ratings are lower than ever.

My opinion is that the results are extremely biased - in that 90+ percent of the listeners/viewers are liberals.

It is a farce because the moderator is of questionable loyalties and cannot be deemed close to being fair. He has stated that he will endorse one of these men soon and if that person does not get elected then Trump may run as a 3rd party candidate. That seems to put him into a conflict of interest.

Outside of that, he is just a quack conspiracy theorist.

It's simple, really. If Trump isn't being fair or asks some kooky question, any one of the candidates can call him on it right there on national TV. Call him out. Is it a monumental task to show that Trump is flaky? I can already see Newt making Trump look like a fool. Romney and Perry would be up to the task as well.

Whoever has the opening question could counter like this (assume Perry gets the opening question.)

Perry: "Mr. Trump before I answer your question, how about you answer a question? You have said that you are going to endorse one of us in the near future and if that person does not win the GOP nomination, you may run as a third party candidate. So which of us are you going to endorse?"

[Trump probably won't answer the question]

Perry: "I suggest to my fellow candidates that we abstain from answering any questions in this debate until Mr. Trump answers that question."

Trump would either answer the question or the debate would be over.

    Never going to happen!

Also, be reminded that having one who is on the same side as out candidates moderate the debate is a gift that we will likely never see again. As I said above, the Republicans get moderated by liberals who are out to see them devastated, and/or so that they can select the candidate that they would be most comfortable in running against their man Obama. They got away with that in the last election and so far in this, and the Republicans are almost too stupid to see what is happening. Unless or until Republicans get on board with the idea that they will have to pull together to defeat the most liberal and dangerous president in American history, they will all fall to the "divide and conquer" tactics being employed against them while the other side just sits back and laughs.

Newt has made comments in almost every debate that were similar to my scenario.

I don't know who this Schultz is, but I think it is evident that I was referring to Trump.

98% of the 10 people who watch MSNBC and Ed, would truncate to 9 people. :)
