Ode to the Welfare State

    I am up in the air about the legitimacy of that particular piece. Seems to be written in computer-eze Times New Roman proportional font, something that did not exist in 1949. Even has "smart quotes" that curl both directions, which are rare before computer days.

    Not that they didn't have those same issues back then -- they did and realized it.

    It seemed to be real to me. I recall at home, it was FDR is a good look at what the anti Christ will be like and Harry wasn't to far behind, I'm sure it was tongue in cheek, but just how much I don't know.
