Did anyone watch the NatGeo documentary a couple of days back? It was just another liberal swip at true Christianity. It is so amazing how these people will bring up liberal theologians one after another for their opinions on what really happened in the Gospel story? I like how they state their opinions as fact most of the time, like how they say everyone now knows that the gospels weren't written by eye witnesses. Sadly there are probably millions of gulible Christians who will believe this and help to spread their lies. It reminded me of the Jesus Seminar special years ago by Peter Jennings, I think it was called "the search for Jesus". This stuff really gets me riled up.

From an earthly perspective, the Jews killed Jesus. From Heaven's point of view, every man killed Jesus.

Did not see, but know what you are talking about, and agree. Would seem to me if all those brilliant and bright minds had any common sense, they would know where to look for the answers. They remain ignorant, for they do not dare look for truth, for they may find it.

We know the World killed Jesus, and the worldly suspect this, but they stay up on that Hill, and are afraid to come down.

Those who look to man for answers, are looking in the wrong place. We laugh at their stupidity, and cry for lack of understanding.

As bad as the program must have been, it can still give you a great starting point with anyone who saw it.

Short answer – I did, now let me tell you about it.

    Acts 4
26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.
27 For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,
28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

In the Ultimate sense of the term, God the father "killed" His Son, as an atonement for the sins of those whom god would redeem and save through that sacrifice...

it was the Will of the father that jesus would come to earth and die as the lamb of God from eternity past, jesus was in full submission to that, and the Holy Spirit raised Him from the dead to prove was paid in full!

The show came accross as demonstrating how the early Christians decieved everyone and fabricated or really changed the true gospel story to fit their agenda and bring a guilty verdict down upon the Jews for killing Jesus. They use only speculation on what they assumed probably happened because they are unable to believe what was written in the gospels originally. So they make up stories that we really don't have the originals and that what we do have was written by other than Matthew, Mark, Luke and John after 70 AD. They even came out and said, "we really don't have any good proof that Jesus ever lived". But yet they state the archeaological find of the stone with Pilot's name on at as proof that he did exist. I guess we are to ignore all the writers of the gospels and early church fathers, Paul, James, Peter, etc along with secular historians like Josephus?
